Captain Drake looked up, a surprised expression crossing his weathered face. "Nicholas! What are you doing here, old friend?"

"I could ask you the same thing," Nicholas replied, taking a seat at the table. "I'm here on a bit of a journey, thought I'd stop by to get a ship, only to see a familiar ship docked here."

"Well, I'll be damned," Captain Drake said, shaking his head in disbelief. "I never thought I'd see the day when the great Nicholas leaves the Golden Lion Empire."

"What are you doing here, however, weren't you going to the Free City of Eridea?" Nicholas asked Drake who sighed.

"We were, then that bastard Plotoya had to start hunting a sea monster that did a number on my ship, so we had to slow down and have it fixed, which Plotoya paid for thankfully."
