Chapter 4: ch-4 The Ale
After Gobi left them, a realisation struck Ryan's head.
"Robb how can we communicate with goblin do they also talk the same language as us"
"Lord... Don't you know that here there is only one language which is universal "
"Huh..."
Ryan got more confused just how can there be only one language for all. After seeing this reaction Robb understood that he had to explain more.
"Lord, we can communicate because this nature helps us in understanding the intention of the one we are communicating with and by this our mind forms a sentence which is most relevant to express those feelings "
'Ohh!... Something like that is actually possible here, that's surprising'
Ryan thought to himself and then he ate dead goblins which were retrieved by Hermes and this process totally made Robb go crazy and now he was shaking his head non stop to see whether he was imagining or something, but the reality made him fear Ryan even more cause this level of brutality was unheard of by a normal person.
"System open my stats"

Ryan was relieved cause at the very least he got a major power boost and that really helped him getting over those disgusting goblins, that he have eaten.

"Hmm... as I thought"

"Gobi you came early today "
"And where are the others which were gone with you for hunting"
Two goblins responsible for guarding the village asked with confusion.
"Oh, they said they will come later cause they saw some suspicious movements in forest , so they will come after checking that out and they sent me to report this to our chieftain"
But Gobi was still calm after those questions and still replied with confidence.
"Then let's report this right away, they must be those villagers from Timutha and they must have failed to gather our demands of this month and maybe that's why they are trying to find a way to save their lives "
"Yeah, that's a huge thing Gobi we should report it as soon as possible, before they try anything funny "
Those two guard said this with a little worry and urgency, which could be seen from their expressions.
"Calm down both of you I will take care of reporting this matter to chieftain after lunch, afterall those villagers are trapped and they don't have an option other than going past our village first to reach their homelands or any other villages, so we shouldn't risk making our chieftain or other orcs angry by disturbing them during their meal for those trapped humans "
This answer made both the guards nod in agreement afterall their chief was very cruel who acts according to his mood and they surely don't want to bet their life on that.
"You are right Gobi... "
"Then I will be going to report this. "
After saying this Gobi left them with their eyes of relief which showed that they felt fortunate for not being the one to report this and then he reached in front of the townhall when he saw a goblin coming over to him while carrying something.
"Is this ale for our chieftain and his friends, Goba?"
"Yeah, why do you ask Gobi "
"Nothing I just have to report something to chieftain so leave this ale to me, I will serve this ale to him while reporting "
"Are you sure Gobi? You know our chieftain's mood swing right? It's better be something good or you are just going in to test your luck "
"Don't worry leave it to me, I know what I'm doing Goba "
"If that's the case then it's fine, here take this"
Goba gave his jar filled with ale to Gobi and then he was about to leave when he heard Gobi's voice.
"Goba I spotted some ducks at the eastern lake outside of our village "
"Huh! Are you telling the truth "
"Yeah, why would I lie about something like that"
"Thanks a lot Gobi I will make sure to grab one for you too!!!!"
Goba left Gobi's side in a hurry and Gobi watched Goba's back until he vanished from his eyesight and then he poured the flask given by Ryan in the ale and entered the town hall after calming his nerves. In front of his eyes there were five orcs including their chieftain and they were eating meat like they haven't eaten from a long time, their drool all over the meat and most of them were not even leaving bones behind, Chief was the most hulkier out of them all and he had a large scar on his cheek .
"Chief I brought your ordered ale"
"But I ordered Goba for that "
"Chief he was busy, so he asked me to serve you this ale"
"THAT PIECE OF SHIT!!! DARES TO NEGLECT MY ORDERS HE WILL NOT SEE TODAY'S SUNSET !!!"
Chief stood up from his chair with anger clearly reflecting in his eyes and the moment he did so other Orcs also did the same cause they all were simple minded persons, goblins could be witty but Orcs are just warriors and most of them can't use their heads for better.
"Chief please try to control your anger that bastard Goba don't deserve your anger I will take care of him, please give me a chance to serve you one last time chief "
"Hmm... Ok you will take care of him and if you don't then I will take care of both of you "
Said chief with anger still remaining in his voice and then came the reply of Gobi.
"Don't worry chief, I promise you that you will not see Goba's face from tomorrow onwards "

Surroundings were getting dark as the night was approaching, but then a huge fire erupted surprisingly from around the middle of the village where the goblin village's town hall was located.
"My lord, seems like the one we had chosen was the brain of his group "
"I know he sure can come handy in future, so shall we move out "
"As you command my lord"
Hermes replied with a slight bow but Robb was thinking something else and this time the question left his mouth.
"Lord sorry for intruding but this could also be a trap as there is a chance that Gobi or whatever his filthy name was, he could have got caught "
This questioning on lord's judgement really contorted Hermes face and he was ready to craft something new today when Ryan showed the hand sign to stop.
"Robb, from now on before speaking ask for permission first otherwise you very well know that we still lack good quality of furniture in our townhall "
Ryan said with an expressionless face but those domineering eyes were enough for Robb to realise that he stepped out of his boundary.
"And about your previous question it's very simple I have good eyes for people and I gained them after many backstabs, so don't worry since the previous conversation with Gobi I got to knew that he wasn't that simple afterall he still kept his composure even after knowing that he was given the task of poisoning his chief and the other orcs"
Ryan said with a very slight smile, but Robb was still in the trauma of that threat so those words fell on his deaf ears. After that they moved towards goblin village and when they reached the gates they saw hundreds of goblins kneeling and the one kneeling in front was Gobi.
