Thirty minutes were up and the female attendant mobilized them all and led them to their stations which as it turned out, and was mostly expected, involved working in the Duchess' residence.

Overall, all that they were told they would be doing involved being close to the Duchess and giving her the chance to always look upon their young faces.

And then they were introduced to a schedule which was explained to be a table of their time with the Duchess behind closed doors. (Literally)

"Umm, excuse me, but what does that entail?" Hal asked even though he had a feeling that they could not and would not tell him anything.

He was right, they did not.

The attendant merely looked at him and frowned,

"Questions are not allowed. Allan right? Well, you will do well to be careful and not overstep your bounds.
