same as previous stories it was collecting dust on FF.net and is not completed. this is shield hero fanfic.trickshot is ongoing but author's focus is not that fanfic so chapters will be updated after long intervals.) synopsis:-
There is no victory without sacrifice. This was a truth that Adrian had known all his life, his father sacrificed himself for the city he loved, his mother sacrificed her time, her future for her children and Adrian had chosen to sacrifice what meagre things he could offer to try and help his family. He did not want to be a sacrifice for another world. He did not want to be a Hero.

As I said before, this novel is better than most of the fanfiction on this site so I don't know why this novel is not famous the MC understands his position so he doesn't do any stupid things, he focuses on his path and nothing will stop him from doing it
this one did not receive that much of a response contrary to my expectations. it is a good steal and I am not sure if it is abandoned. well, I just upload all the available chapters in a week or so. whoever is reading it if you guys notice any problem in chapters do comment I will fix it. enjoy it.
