Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Meeting in Saturday

As to why the students in Class 2-A behaved as they did towards the two of them it was because the two of them are quite popular, and a rumor spread among the female students last year that the two of them are a couple.

'a cold cutie and a handsome beauty' is what they are called, they're also known as the 'perfect couple'

though two of them who's involved didn't know that such things are going around.

rumors started going around about them being a couple, last year mid November. Mumei received a letter, a love letter. What's written there is only the place and time - rooftop, lunch break.

Mumei was holding a letter in her hand, on her way to the rooftop. hence her female classmates who saw it guessed that she's getting confessed to.

Mumei showed up and saw a guy standing alone, he's about half a head taller than Hiori. The guy has a surprise look on his face then his cheeks turned pink, as the wind came with a 'wooosh' the guy spoke first- he was confessing to her.

Then lunch break is over and Mumei came back with Hiori. Mumei's looking at her 'sweetly', while Hiori is from ear to ear and a blush visible on her cheeks

the lively classroom went silent for a moment when they saw the two, then they started spreading the words, some was somewhat disgusted but a majority was supportive towards this two

the red-ish sky is quite clear with a few clouds on and a flock of birds can be seen at the window, the classes was done but a homework was given. Mumei and Hiori didn't join a club so they went to the library to do the homework.

the day is done they stepped out of school at exactly 19:00, the other students were also done with their perspective club activities and went home. The two walked home together side by side.

halfway through, Hiori was feeling that she has forgotten something then she remembered, she has not apologize to Mumei after her prank!

a sudden meeting has been called inside her head every lil-hiori cells panicked as they hold a piece of paper, some are shouting and crying, the outer appearance may seem calm but on the inside it is a disaster.

Mumei was somewhat out of it too so she didn't really pay that much attention to Hiori right now.

inside Hiori's head, it started calming down when a boss lil-hiori showed up shushing the panicking ones, then the quiet lil-hiori popped out of nowhere giving a good idea, ''Why not ask for forgiveness now and ask her out on the upcoming weekend as a 'late apology treat'? go watch a movie or something then go to a cafe treat her'' then the quiet lil-hiori hid after. All the lil-hiori present at the emergency meeting looked at one another and celebrated as they loved the idea.

Hiori stopped walking as she tugged the end of Mumei's sleeves. Mumei also stopped when she felt a force at her arm she looked behind her, Hiori was somewhat anxious but she said it anyway.

''Meimei...'' she called

''mhm?''

''I'm sorry''

''about what?''

''about this morning... I went too far''

Mumei looked up to look at Hiori in the eyes ''as long as you know''

actually she has forgotten about it.

''mhm... so uh...are you free this Saturday? want to go watch a movie with me?'' her voice broke in the middle but she didn't shy away though it embarrassed her a bit.

Mumei thought for a while thinking that it will be a good way to tell Hiori something to her she agreed with a nod

Hiori shouted with all her energy ''yaaaay! what time should we go? at 10:00?''

''10:00..? won't it be too early for you?''

''no no it's fine''

''hmm.. okay then'' Mumei said with a doubting tone

Hiori assured her again and again that it'll be fine

(its a date right? a date... I'm excited!!)

''it's a promise then'' Hiori said with a big smile

''mhm''

Hiori took out her phone she opened it with her fingerprint, she went to the calendar app and she clicked the 10th of the April set up the event, named it '1st date! confession day!' set the alarm at 7:00 then she clicked 'done' she put her phone in her pocket, then the two continued their walk way back home.

April 9th

Hiori is walking home alone today it's already night time, she walked slower than usual.

the past few days... it ended quickly though during lunch break of everyday Hiori can't find Mumei but she didn't mind it as can she see her during class and there's that upcoming 'date' too!

she giggled at herself then she sighed ''though it would've been perfect if we could eat lunch together... and to walk home together today... '' she said dejectedly

Hiori shakes her head then slapped her both cheeks slightly to get rid of her negative thoughts

she jumped a few times making her a little out of breath then she shouted ''yooosh!!'' then she started running with a smile on the way to the station

she went to the mall to buy a gift to her liking then she went home afterwards.

Hiori's phone buzzed. it was currently the long awaited date, Saturday April 10th.

Hiori turned off the alarm and woke up immediately, she was humming a happy tune while she opened her closet to pick her outfit for the date.

She took light blue color long-sleeved blouse, a light mocha blazer, a brown trousers, a loose white socks. then she finished her outfit with a leather lace up shoe.

after organizing her outfit Hiori took a quick shower, after she's done she used a hairdryer then put on her outfit she looked at herself in the mirror she nods in satisfaction, then after thinking for a while she put her hair in a simple low ponytail.

she looked at the time and its 9:30

she went downstairs and chatted with her parent for a while, they talked about the weather and her older sister who's studying abroad then after that she bid goodbye to her parents and went off.
