Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Rush me into marriage.
In an old apartment,
'Knock, Knock'
Mi rea knocks at the door,
"Mum, I'm home"she said buoyantly,as she walks into the house,
On the floor, sat an elderly woman,with bottles of alcohol and cigarettes.The woman was putting on a shabby red short dress, beside her was her pair of high heels and bag,
"Mum"Mi rea called out when she saw Mrs.Rosé,on the floor,
"Mum what are you doing? ",Mi rea glooms,
"Haven't you sworn that we are going to starve to death,so l better drink as much as I can now"Mrs Rosé yells, as she picks up the bottle from the floor,
"Mum give me that",
Mi rea struggles to get the alcohol from Mrs Rosé,
Before she knew it,a thunderous slap landed on her delicate face,as tears welled up in her eyes.
"If I had known that you will grow up to be this stupid, I wouldn't have wasted money on your school,do you know how many proposal you have rejected?, now l know, nothing good comes out from a rotten seed"Mrs Rosé blurted out.
At that moment Mi rea kept mute,she finally could let the tears out of her eyes,
"Mum, I'm really sorry for all I did...but ... have you ever think of how I felt, you wanted to rush me into a marriage with a man I know nothing of,...mum, I know we don't have enough now, but don't worry because soon, everything will become better for you and I" she cried, her face was already red like cherries,and her eyes like blue ocean, covered with tears,she then ran to her room crying,
The cold chilling droplets of water touches her snow like skin,as she squats under the shower.
She kept on bringing the flash back of everything that happened, she couldn't help but cry,
She switch off the shower, took her pink cotton towel and dry her her,
She wore her floral underwear,as she laid on her bed, she took her blanket,and covered herself with it, few minutes later,she has already fallen in the world of dreams.
