Chapter 10: Chapter 10: Challenge
Shi Feng is currently walking towards the direction of Gentle Snow and her subordinates with a big smile on his face. In his mind, if his plan worked out he will have one heck of a candidate for his girlfriend.
Gentle Snow and the others also looked at him walking towards them. When Shi Feng arrived he calmly looked at them and he talked about what he had in mind.
"Good day miss Snow, I have a wonderful proposal that you will definitely not decline" Shi Feng said with a smile
"Ohhh, and what kind of proposal will that be?" said Gentle Snow with a smile that corresponds with Shi Feng's smile.
When others saw their goddess smiling at another man, they looked at him with murderous intent. If looks could kill Shi Feng would die over hundreds of times. But what can they do, Shi Feng is a bonafide level 4 expert while they are just side characters.
Shi Feng looked at the others' crestfallen faces and chuckled.
"I have a strategy that can help you conquer this dungeon, clearly I can just use this so me and my party can conquer it and leave you guys behind but where's the fun in that. So, I will give you the strategy and we will have a race, If you win you can ask anything from me. And If I win, how about go on a date with me." Shi Feng said with the best smile he can make on his handsome face. (A/N: I made him handsome coz I think I read in the novel he is not really handsome.)
Gentle Snow couldn't believe what the expert in front of her was saying, clearly she had a lot of admirers that will do everything for her bidding but this is a first time she is challenged.
She began to imagine what it is like when she won. So without further hesitation she agreed.
"I accept your challenge Mr. Expert, just prepare yourself as we will win this challenge."
"Ohh... Miss Snow is quite confident, by the way my name is Ye Feng, I sent you a friend request so please confirm it. Also, are you not worried that I will win this and will have a date with you, It's in real life by the way. Shi Feng said
Gentle Snow wondered why he is so calm, the strategy did come from him but his looking at his party members, she could see that they are complete strangers, so why is he so confident.
"No worries Mr. Ye Feng and please, I don't even know who you are" Gentle Snow said
"Ohhh you will, maybe in a month or so. Well see you Ms. Snow, I'll inform you when it is time for our date." Shi Feng said then he bade goodbye to them.
When he came back he could see Blackie and the others are waiting for him.
Brother Feng, where did you go. You said you are going to socialize for a bit, yet why did you go towards my idol Gentle Snow without me." Blackie acted like he was betrayed by his brother.
Shi Feng looked at him and smacked his head.
"You are busy recruiting so I left you here, don't worry though you will have your chance with other women soon. Shi Feng said making Blackie Smile
"You are not lying to me are you Brother Feng." Blackie said while imagining himself with many women
"Of course, when have I ever lied to you" Shi Feng said then looked at the other party members.
"And that goes for all of you as well, Blackie told you that I'm not just looking for temporary party members, correct. I will give you one last chance, You either leave or you can come with me to go towards the top." Shi Feng said while looking at them.
When the others heard it none of them left. Why would they want to miss the opportunity of going with an expert.
Shi Feng looked at them with a satisfied look in his face.
"Well then, as we are all ready let's go."
Shi Feng then contacted Gentle Snow.
"Miss Snow are things ready on your side?"
"We're ready Mr. Feng, we decided to choose hard difficulty so the challenge last a little longer." Gentle Snow said confidently. She believed that she will win this challenge and ask Shi Feng to join her guild. With such a powerful and intelligent expert capable of giving her strategies for dungeon diving, their guild would get stronger.
"Well since I'm the instigator of this challenge and the provider of the strategy we'll challenge hell difficulty. See you later Miss Snow, don't forget about our date in the future." Shi Feng then bade farewell and went towards the portal with his team.
Seeing this, Gentle Snow and her party also entered their own portal
"Just you wait Ye Feng, I'll definitely invite you to my guild." 'Though having a date with you doesn't sound bad at all' Gentle Snow said keeping the last part to herself

When Shi Feng and the others arrived at the entrance they received a message from the system.
System: You have chosen Hell Mode of Deathly Forest. Death penalty increased by 100%.
Suddenly, the faces of the members of the party turned deathly white. Death penalty increased by 100%, doesn't that mean if they died within the Dungeon, they would lose 20% of their EXP? One or two hours of effort were required to make up for that EXP.
They all look towards Shi Feng with doubtful expressions.
"What?? Clearly I chose Hell Mode Difficulty because I'm confident that we can clear this. Also this will help me into training you guys. For now, let me assess what you can do. I will just watch you at first and then try to instruct you about what you need to do. Am I clear" Shi Feng sounded like a Drill Sergeant
Hearing Shi Feng's words they all nodded. Although they are excited, they are also nervous, clearly the penalty is the one to blame.
"Alright, alright, stop minding these little matters. I'll be explaining the strategy for this Dungeon in a moment, so you guys better listen carefully. If you don't follow through, then your lives will become forfeit." Shi Feng waved his hands, ready to start explaining the strategy to conquer the Dungeon.
Suddenly, a strong wind blew from the dark and gloomy forest, causing the trees to sway madly.
"Ao! Ao! Ao!"
After the howling wind came a furious roar that resounded throughout the entire Deathly Forest. Countless birds were scared, flying off into the sky.
Blackie and the others were stunned by such an imposing aura.
They were just youths around the age of 20. They had never experienced any great hardships, not to mention being tempered through life-or-death situations. It was their first time facing such a lung-piercing roar. Compared to hearing the traditional roar of a tiger in the forest, this roar was much more shocking to the human heart.
"This thing is what we should pay attention to." Shi Feng calmly said at this moment.
The largest difference between Hell Mode and Hard Mode was this roar.
Although it did not have a specific name to it, the players in Shi Feng's previous life had dubbed it as "Hell's Roar".

A/N: Although it is a hundred words fewer than the last one I still manage to make a satisfactory(for me) chapter. Well maybe a bit on the boring side. Just wait for the next chapter
