Chapter 14
Charles took her into his arms like he hadn't had her in ages. It felt like all his worries and his ails drifted away suddenly, and he was in a new world where only pleasure existed.
Maya threw herself more into the act as she perceived the positive effect that it had on him. She could feel his hardness rubbing hard against the wetness building up within her thighs. It made her quiver in his arms as she intermittently let out soft and almost silent breathy moans of ecstasy.
In a hungry manner, he explored her mouth with his tongue, as his hands reached for the softness below her waist. His touches and motions were all hungry and needy. At that rate, he was sure he could go on with her body all day long.
She let out even louder moans as his kisses went lower down to her neck, and then even lower to her chest, then to her hardened and pointy nipples which were aching and itching for his touch.
He made her moan even louder, as the warmth of his mouth soon enclosed her nipples, tugging, sucking and playing with it as he pleased. In an instant, he flipped positions, as he put her in the bed, and was soon on top of her. Immediately, he picked up the pace from where he had left off. Her moans spurred him to do even more.
The moment had him wondering why he hadn't resorted to that remedy long before then. It was clear that her body was all the therapy he needed to nurse him back to health.
With his tongue, he blazed a trail down from her belly button, and then lower. Her voice quivered as he went lower, then stopped just above her waist. He came back on top of her, and kissed her.
"You're all mine, Maya…" her whispered in her ears, as he teased her in-between the thighs with his long hardness.
"As it should be…" she replied with a voice that was shaky with ecstasy. She loved it when he whispered those words in her ears and teased her while doing it. He had her gasping for breath, as he made the flawless thrust with his hardness. She couldn't stop the moans that followed with the consecutive thrusts he hit her with.
Just as Charles was in the middle of the act, he got a mind link from Lucas, but then, he blocked it instantly. He wouldn't be interrupted by anyone, even if the world was crumbling at that moment.
For a moment, he wanted to forget that he was alpha, forget about the prophecy, and about the fact that his Luna was pregnant. He just wanted to let go of everything that was bothering him, and not even his beta could interrupt.
But then, Lucas made his annoying persistence known, as his phone was soon buzzing. Charles chose not to get provoked, as he wasn't going to let a single thing stop him from enjoying the moment.
"Aren't you… going to get that…?" Maya could barely speak through the moans, as he had her out of breath with the way he was coming on strong.
"No way…" he replied, stroking her even harder, not affording her a chance to think about the phone that was threatening to interrupt the moment. And it seemed to be working just fine.
"But it could be something important…" she managed to say.
"Nothing could be more important than you are…" with that, he reached for the phone and flung it far away. He liked the smile that formed on her face when he said those words. There was nothing more precious.

"I know that Queen Maya has you fooled like everyone else to think that she's the wonderful person that she's not," Ruth said, calculating her words carefully in a bid to sell the plot to Freda.
She hated the fact that she had to descend to the level of trying to convince a mere maid just to be able to get to Maya. But then, she considered it to be a little sacrifice for the greater good.
"What are you talking about?" Freda asked, still a bit confused about where it was all going to. She was still reeling from the anger with the way Maya had treated her earlier.
"I'm saying…" Ruth was trying her best to be patient with the whole thing, as it was slowly starting to get on her nerves. "I noticed how she yelled at you earlier like you weren't a person with emotions. She has everyone fooled that she's some sort of nice person, but deep down she's one of the most arrogant and meanest people within these walls."
Freda was silent for a while, as she was slowly buying into the idea which Ruth was subtly selling to her.
"She has always been arrogant from the start. Her pretense was only to win the approval of many, but in the background she mistreats people like you," Ruth went on, as she enjoyed the reaction she was evoking in her one-man audience. "But I think it's time we put her in her proper place, as the stretch she is."
"So… what do you say?" Stella asked, with a wry smile on.
"I told you to leave the talking to me," Ruth interrupted in a whisper, as she gently pulled her back, and resumed her proposal. "There's a whole lot in it for you, Freda, besides getting revenge for her mistreatment of you all this while."
Ruth called her name with such a friendliness that she found disgusting to use for just a mere maid. But then, she just had to remind herself that it was for the greater good.
She wasn't sure how she would take it if Freda ended up rejecting the offer. Killing Freda would be one of the options which she would consider, as she wouldn't want a single word of the offer to get to any ears besides the ones she was speaking into at the moment.
"So, what's in it for me?" Freda asked, much to their excitement.
"Good girl," smiled Ruth.
