"Why sir? We improvised a little so it would look more real. You didn't like it?". Go A Yeong was sickened by the way she smiled and fought her eyelids. She sat up, frowning in pain. There should be bruises all over her by now. The director looked at her innocent face, and his attitude towards them changed by a hundred eighty. "O-of course. I liked it.".
"But I didn't.". The sudden, cold voice caught everyone off guard. Go A Yeong looked up to see Jeong Seo Joon with his usual poker face staring at her. No one could guess the mode he was in. Oblivious to the situation, Seo Yi Yun was overjoyed to see her prince charming. She jogged to him, trying to hold onto his arm.
However, unlike everyone else, he didn't gladly accept her and ducked a little to his right. She didn't expect him to move, and without anything to hold onto, she stumbled and fell. A few chuckles were heard from the crew members, which embarrassed her, but she ignored them and stood up, dusting her clothes.
The director did a little bow and extended his hand to Jeong Seo Joon, only to lower it when he did nothing other than glance at it. "I'm so happy to see you here, Mr. Seo Joon. How are you doing?". "You tell me, director. I just saw my artist getting beaten up by some unprofessional people, and the director agreed with them. How do you expect me to feel?".
The director opened his mouth, but nothing came out. He can't try to lie, as Jeong Seo Joon has witnessed everything from the start. "T-that, I just wanted the audience to have the best experience possible." Jeong Seo Joon smirked upon hearing that. "If there's a scene where she needs to die, you won't hesitate to kill her for real so the audience would experience the best, right?".
Jeong Seo Joon's face darkened more with each word he uttered. He didn't expect his supposedly funny comment to anger him. "Thank you for your hard work, but you're not needed anymore. You'll be sued by my agency for misusing your superiority against my artist.".
The director became pale. Sued by Jeong Seo Joon? Then he won't be able to remain in this industry, no matter what he does. He kneeled in front of him without any other choice. "Sir, please. I won't make the same mistake again. I'm sorry.". But nothing he did could persuade Jeong Seo Joon to change his mind. With a wave of his hand, the director was dragged away by his bodyguards.
He turned to the terrified Seo Yi Yun and the other actors. "This is your last warning. One more show of your unprofessionalism, and I won't hesitate to terminate the contracts.". And without waiting for their response, he went to Go A Yeong.
"Can you walk?" Jeong Seo Joon asked, extending his hand to her. Go A Yeong nodded slowly and took his hand in hers. Seeing her wince in pain, he had the urge to send Lee So Hyun to get his gun for him or tear the contracts of the four actors to pieces. But he can't always follow his emotions, as it won't do any good for his profession.
He held onto her arm and helped her out of the set towards his car. "Where are we going?".
"To the hospital.".
"But I'm fine.".
"You're not. Keep quiet and just walk.".
