Chapter 163: Chapter 163: LUCK OP

Chapter 163: LUCK OP

~Jack POV~

Using up the 3 Skill Cards: Random I soon got what I received from using up all of them with my 200 LUCK stats soon enough.

[Ding!]

[You used the Skill Card: Random…]

[You gain the skill <Freeze>!]

[Ding!]

[You used the Skill Card: Random…]

[You gain the skill <Fate's Hand>!]

[Ding!]

[You used the Skill Card: Random…]

[You gain the skill <Good Fortune>!]

I got three new skills while I recognize the two <Freeze> and <Good Fortune> to be from the Ironwood top Ops but the <Fate's Hand> is a new one to me.

Although I'm not going to lie that those skills are really useful to have on hand especially with <Freeze> for the upcoming fight.

Now then…

Skill List.

----

<Freeze> (Active) Lv.1/100 Exp: 0.0%

AP Cost: 1000 AP

Description: This skill allows the user to freeze an enemy's movements, activating when the user uses the command word 'stay.' This ability seems to have little to no limit in terms of numbers, as this skill is able to freeze an entire crowd of enemies but does come with it's own weakness. However, the user must remain pointing at the enemy to keep them in place, otherwise, the command will wear off.

The major limitation of this skill is that can only be used in a single direction: in other words, it cannot be used against two opponents coming from separate directions, as activating the skill will cancel any current usage.

<Good Fortune> (Active) Lv. 1/100 Exp: 0.0%

Description: Allows users to manipulate probability positively. This skill is constantly active, but instead, it caused good fortune wherever the user went with varying effects this skill seemingly only affected and brought the user 'Good Luck' in whatever they did so long as they have Aura.

<Fate's Hand> (Active) Lv. 1/100 Exp: 0.0%

AP Cost: 500 AP

Description: Allows users to either improve a situation, not affect it, or make it significantly worse via dice roll it summons. This skill is unique, in that he embraces destiny and leaves things up to chance.

The skill is described as asking fate for the best way to handle a situation and hoping for the best. By asking fate to step in, the skill can vastly improve outcomes. However, it also has the chance to not affect situations at all or make situations much worse.

Mechanically it summons up Fate Die as it serves as a 12-sided dice roll, in which 1-4 are critical failures of the worst outcome, 5-8 are neutral results of nothing happening, and 9-12 are critical successes of the greatest outcome.

The higher the LUCK is the greater the chances of having critical successes.

----

Burh.

Blinking seeing the screen of the LUCK-based skill of <Fate's Hand> and <Good Fortune> I could only smile with <Misfortune> from Qrow I want to know exactly the extent of what I can do here.

Wait hold up.

Stopping from being a bit trigger-happy I began to use <Fate's Hand> using up 500 AP to summon up the die in question examining it with some doubt, "Hmm… so this is Fate's Die huh? I wonder what will happen if I simply throw it down with nothing happening at the moment. Time to experiment."

Dropping the die, I summoned up and let LUCK take my fate to see what the results lead towards.

*Tap*

*Tap*

*Tap*

[<Fate's Hand> LEVEL UP!]

After a few seconds of rolling around it landed on a 10 on the die waiting to see what kind of effects it does.

*BEEP*

*BEEP*

Taking my time to wait a bit I began to hear a beeping sound from my Scroll to see 2B call me as I answer to speak, "Hey 2B what's the call for? Anything important came up?"

Hearing in a frantic tone her working on my Future Foundation organization I was shocked from what I heard out of her mouth, "Sir! It took some time, but I finally manage to recreate the Power Ring per your request! When we were about to land a deal with Ghira for the ores we helped uncover a sudden meteor that came out of nowhere and crashed to our HQ! But that's not the worst oh no the best part is that when it made contact with our Power Ring project it reacted positively as a usable energy source! We can make it use the meteor as our base!"

What…!

My eyes were shocked hearing that.

Then glancing my eyes towards the <Fate's Hand> die on the floor soon vanishing it couldn't have happened by pure accident, right?

This is just to be sure.

Activating <Fate's Hand> once more just out of pure curiosity again having 2B on still I let the Die drop down normally getting me the result I want.

*Tap*

*Tap*

*Tap*

[<Fate's Hand> LEVEL UP!]

The Die landed on an 11 this time while I was waiting in anticipation of what is going to happen next before 2B began to respond to a new deal with the Faunus.

Listening to what 2B was talking about I could literally hear her squirm a bit with Koromaru coming towards me in wonder, "Ahh! Sir apparently, we managed to discover a temple in the desert home of the Faunus! I'm already gathering unique energy signatures coming from them relating to the Arc Ring you once gave me. I'm already making deals with Ghira to pay them off I'll speak later sir!"

*Beep*

*Beep*

Leaving myself in complete shock at the news of getting magic artifacts and the skill <Fate's Hand> in pure shock and probably fearful now considering of what I wield in my hands could literally and I do mean literally alter the fate of this world…

By the complete power of rolling dice.

Add the fact of my LUCK-based stats being 200 and my LUCK-based skills <Super LUCK>, <Golden LUCK>, <Good Fortune>, and <Heroic LUCK>…

Patting Koromaru on the head with him barking in contentment as I asked him a somewhat serious question, "Koromaru do you think I'm a good luck charm?"

"Arf!"

Good enough.

But still, we finally have the means to recreate the Power Ring from the blueprints I got from Jessica when I used <Mechanical King> on it to get a better grasp and creation of it.

How LUCKY can I be here really?

In Remnant, I couldn't find any metals that worked to what I wanted but then that meteor changed everything because I rolled it out pure chance and LUCK of it happening by complete accident using <Fate's Hand>.

A Green Lantern Ring, it is also known as a Power Ring, is a piece of jewelry that grants the wearer incredible and incomprehensible powers and abilities by harnessing willpower. They are considered by some to be the most powerful weapons in the known universe.

The rings use pure energy supplied by a Power Battery, which in most cases takes the form of bright green light. But in my case, I use Dust to power it since I don't have a Power Battery it was the best substitution I could get.

A Green Lantern's ring, considered by some to be one of the most powerful weapons in the known universe, has the ability to affect and use fundamental forces of the known universe, including electromagnetic energies such as gravity, radiation, heat, light, and powerful blasts of concussive force.

It is also theorized that the ring also has a basis in other dimensional energies commonly called magic by users of such energies. The ring can also create fields of force formed from an unknown energy that is bound by the users' will. The limitations of such use are the skill, knowledge, and imagination of the user.

Some of the abilities that a Green Lantern Ring has shown are energy projection, force fields, energy construct creation, phasing, environmental playback, willpower empowerment, invisibility, light refraction, energy absorption, flight, wormholes, spatial warps, time travel, limited cellular regeneration, electromagnetic scanning, galactic encyclopedia, universal translator, material alteration, ring duplication, mind alteration, pocket dimension, resurrection, security protocol, and preset conditions.

Like hell the Power Ring is OP and I managed to create the blueprints of them but modified some of it for it to work well with Dust, but the question is what the hell kind of meteor is the thing made out of for it to be useful to be base material for the power ring.

Hmm…

Should I even try it?

Fuck it.

Activating <Fate's Hand> once more and playing the die down I waited to get the result or outcome I need.

*Tap*

*Tap*

*Tap*

Fuck.

It's a 1.

Turning my head around not seeing bad happening –

"BOOOOM!"

Suddenly my lab exploded with my robots working inside to repair the damages as I took a look at the cams making me flinch in pure rage when I saw what exploded was the Gundam model I have been working on for the last few days with my clones training.

LUCK…

LUCK is OP as hell when it works for me.

When LUCK turns against me it's just a major pain in the ass and it blew up like it was nothing!

Sigh…

Note to self only use the skill <Fate's Hand> sparingly…

At the very least recreating my Mechas Godzilla after the Starro fight has been progressing smoothly –

"BOOOM!"

Never mind.

Back to the drawing board again.

Reworking them is going to be a pain again… aw man…

~Jax POV~

Yes.

Everything is going all according to plan.

The Crown's complete control of the Huntsman and Huntresses is already underway.

With Theodore and Xanthe working as my servants Crownsmen keeping us in contact and sending students to places where I can ambush them and fully brainwash them with glee.

Hehehe…

Soon…

Soon my dreams of becoming King of Vacuo with the Queen of Grimm Salem helping me like the servant she should.

This is my destiny to greatness.

Destiny to rise above the peasants and slaves.

Those unfit and failures.

I'm destined for greatness.

I'm Malik heir to the Vacuo Kingdom.

With the Magic Artifacts and support, I simply need to wait for the promised day to attack Vale at its weakest when Salem goes on to attack during the Vytal Festival.

Being the future King of Vacuo I need to keep my prestige and promise in order but first the Heroes of Remnant.

I need to deal with them and get them as valuable assets for me to use.

Especially the beauties.

Such beauties belong to royalty like my own personal concubines for me to please.

After all, they pass my books being the best of the best this world has to offer.

Only the best may be my own wives.

However, I need resources and connections using either the Schnee or Nights organization it would be simple to do.

I do recall that my sister Gillian says that the Vacuo Trade was about to make a deal with the Future Foundation.

Yes…

Perhaps I can get the fool Jack Nights to be my own personal sword against the Kingdoms something that inferior creature attempted on Remnant.

No.

Unlike it, I will succeed by capturing the man that tilted victory toward Humanity.

Hehehehe!

HAHAHAHA!

I CAN'T WAIT!

SOON ALL WILL FALL TO VACUANS RULE ONCE AND FOR ALL!!
