Chapter 2: chapter one | wait, what?
"What to do, what to do, what to do."
I said to myself as I still hid inside my blanket after the ghost scenario with Naomi-unnie and sighed. I was too scared to go out of it because I kept on hearing things from the first floor. Footsteps on the stairs, clashing of pots in the kitchen, and some 70s music through our speakers that would turn on and off. Damn.
Without taking off this soft blanket, I tried to get my phone on my nightstand and succesfully took ahold of it.
Opening Youtube, I laid flatly on my bed, still the blanket's attached to my body.
'Boots and Skirts crack videos" I typed that in and got many results after tapping search. It's my favorite Korean girl group. Maybe this could help me from gaining my courage to go downstairs again.
The Boots and Skirts members, especially Charlotte, Olivia, and Ava are my close friends alongside Naomi unnie.
Naomi's basically close friends with Bella and Emma.
When we all hangout together, we fit together like puzzles as we get along with each other well. Olivia and Charlotte annoying each other, Monica and Emma would always have their own world, Ava creating her own world with Ellie, and Bella sighing as she would always catch Sophia flirting with me. Alice would entertain Naomi, though.
After watching silly videos of my friends, I suddenly had the strength to stand up, with a blanket hanging on my shoulders. I placed my phone on my pocket.
I checked myself on the mirror. 'You can do this Tari, you can do this.'
As a preparation, I did some shadowboxing for awhile and sighed.
Here we go..
With my heart beating fast, I took one step at a time as I closed my bedroom door behind me. When I felt something move, I suddenly ran downstairs in a fast pace.
I guess doing shadowboxing as a warmup won't do anything for me scaredy cat self.
As soon as my feet made contact to the familiar tiles of our kitchen, I directly went to get water to perhaps regain my self after the prank of my older sister regarding ghosts and from running downstairs.
I opened the refrigerator and drank the bottle of water, emptying it all of a sudden.
I placed my hands on top of our countertop when suddenly, someone poked my shoulder.
"Ahhhh!!!" I screamed as loud as I can after I felt the touch of that person.
"You should've seen your face, Tari!" Naomi-unnie said while clutching her stomach as her melodous laughter rang around the house.
"Where were you, unnie?" I said as I massaged my temples.
"Where were you, Tari?" She reciprocated the question. "You've been in your room for awhile that I already finished one bag of chicken so I went out to buy another one and came back just to scare you, again." Naomi-unnie replied, as she placed another bag of chicken ontop of our dining table.
My lips turned into an 'O' shape and she just rolled her eyes.
"Let's just eat, shall we?" She asked and we happily ate our breakfast.

"Ruby Nefertari Kim," My older sister said as she paced from left to right, yes that's my full name.
"Hm, Naomi Keira Kim?" I looked up at her. I sat comfortably on the couch unlike her.
"You have to follow my rules today, arasso?" She said as she went closer to my face. I just nodded and she smiled.
"Then, go get ready. Aziel will be here soon to pick us up." Naomi said and laid down on the other couch as she played games on her phone.
My eyes lit up at the said name, my favorite cousin's going to hangout with us! "Jinjja?! Aziel-oppa's here?"
Naomi rolled her eyes and waved her hands. "The clock is ticking, hurry up now! But yeah, we're going somewhere to celebrate something."
"What is it all abou--" I was cut off by her words again that I just nodded in return.
I prepared for today's agenda, only to find out that my manager's not around so it's my day-off today.
Hi, my name is Ruby Nefertari Kim, as told by my sister earlier. My sister and I have been on each other's side ever since we were younger, since our parents were away from us for our international company based on New Zealand. And my job here's a full time model. Gucci, Chanel, you name it.
After a few moments, we finally met our cousin, Aziel Kim, which we engulfed immediately into a hug, and to our surprise, he brought along his boyfriend, Kendric Parker.
"Nyeongan! Nice to finally meet you, Kendric!" Naomi said as she waved at the good-looking guy.
"Nice to meet you too, Kendric!" I greeted him as well.
Kendric smiled and scratched the back of his neck. Maybe he's shy, though.
We spent our day at the mall in Gangnam-gu and later on had ramen. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood to have a good day and that's good though.
I love the way Aziel looks at Kendric and how Kendric looks at Aziel. It just spoke pure love and affection, oh how I wish I could have someone to look at me that way. Someday.
When we were at an ice cream parlor, Kendric and Naomi volunteered to order while Aziel and I went to get the perfect spot of the parlor, which gave us access to the sunset.
"So, Tari, how are you? Still have no boyfriend?" I cringed at the last word for that's the last thing I would want to have in my life.
Aziel saw the change of mood of my face and laughed. "Mianhae. Uhm, correction, still have no girlfriend?"
I shook my head and laughed at his goofiness. "Zizi~ I'm alright and just like the old times, I still don't have a girlfriend."
"Oh c'mon," He said in annoyance. "You literally can date anyone, especially that everyone has seen your face on magazines and billboards and stuff."
"I'd rather focus on myself first. Love for someone else can wait but love for yourself cannot and will never be." I said and when the two came back holding ice creams, we endulged it until we ended up walking on the streets of Seoul as the sun went down.
After all, I'm single and ready to eat pringles.

"Yah! Give me another one!" Naomi said as she tried to reach for another bottle of a specific lady's drink.
We ended our night by drinking the night away from the nearby bar. It was a cozy bar and not a crowded one.
"Not until you say your announcement." I said and Aziel nodded in agreement.
"Oh that one," She's still sober to think but too wild to function. "As you can see, I have nothing to do with my life for now.."
We all nodded in understanding.
"And so, I'm leaving."
"Wait, what?" I gasped and covered my mouth in astonishment. I can't believe this.
"Tari, mianhae. Eomma and appa just called me the other day and I have to go to New Zealand to do some business-related stuff in our company."
