Chapter 19: Guild Residence

Outside the mansion, Leroy walked with a smile, he knew fully what his high represented for him, he probably would never lack anything that could be obtained with Luck or money.

He then checked the Epic Rank Pants he got from the last Twilight Treasure Chest he opened.

'Right, I'm a Count now...' He opened a window and contacted Old Pat.

"Good, excellent... those Forging Design you got will also be a money making machine too. I'll pass the money for the private land and Guild Residence over to you now, come here" Old Pat said excitedly after Leroy passed him the Light Stone Forging Desing. "I finally can have a place to manage the guild instead of these bars and restaurants" the old man sighed.

Leroy was also quite excited, he inmediatly went to the City Hall to purchase a private land. Private Land could be brought by players as their personal space, however the best use for it was to establish a Guild Residence without a doubt.

"Welcome, Sir Count, how may I serve you?" it was a male npc receptionist who spoke to him.

"I whish to purchase a private land, show me what you have" As he was a Count Rank noble, he should have access to the best places in the city.

"Sir Count, these are the free plots of land, however, Grand Duke Heartfield instructed us to also show these one Mansion, it belongs to a Count who no longer lives in Star-Moon City and whishes to sell it." The receptionist showed him a huge mansion to him.

The mansion, was even better than the ones of most Counts in Star-Moon City, be its construction style and the big infraestructure, all of them were very luxorious, but it even had a lake inside the land from which players could fish there, one could even nurture fish in the lake as to populate it with high level fish, guild members would definetly love it.

It's location was also great, it was only three minutes from the city center, very close to the Bank and Auction House. The only thing that made Leroy mouth to twitch was the price, it actually costed 22,000 Gold Coins even with his discount as a Count. Actually if it wasn't for Grand Duke Hearfield, he wouldn't even be allowed to trade for such a place regardless of the money he had right now.

"Hmm, fine, I'll buy these mansion" Leroy said and handed over the Gold Coins, he tought it was a pity that the mansion would end up in the hands of others.

"Great, Sir Count, this place is not worse than a Marquis mansion, if not for special circumstances it would not even sell for double that price." The receptionist said excitedly, it was rare for such a large transaction to happen, and he would be rewarded for it.

Indeed, these land was something he wouldn't be able to acquire with his current noble rank to begin with, it seems he got in the good books of Heartfield.

He went to the Adventurer's Association, then followed the procedures and turned his private land into a Guild Residence. He spent 5,000 Gold Coins in order to create an Advanced Guild Hall, which replaced the building of his mansion, this Hall could fit 4,300 people with its size.

One couldn't be considered a true guild unless they have a Guild Residence... with a Guild Residence, players would start receiving quests from npcs, if a guild was powerful enough, getting thousands of quests per day and even a epic rank quests wasn't weird. Each quest also gave a lot more Guild Reputation than the quests at the Adventurer's Association.

Furthermore, with each completed quest, the guild would acquire 15% of the quest monetary reward as a fee, Like these, providing a considerable amount of funds to the guild.

Time was required in order for the construction of the Guild Hall to be completed, so he started to check the information that the guild has gathered.

Currently, there were 450 main forces members, while Pat started recruiting Lifestyle players. Lifestyle players were actually put into much heavier restrictions than other guild members, they would be nurtured with plenty of resources after all, if they just left the guild after acquiring rare and profitable designs and recipes, the guild could take a big loss. On the other hand, the recruited Lifestyle players's standards needed to be high, and mayority of spots were reserved for talented Alchemists.

It wasn't long before four hundreds of Lifestyle players joined the Guild, increasing the numbers by a big marging. Altough it wasn't as many Lifestyle players as other guilds had, they were on average much better than those, the conditions they received were also much better.

He continued to search for more, until a system announcement shook the Star-Moon Kingdom.

Star-Moon Kingdom System Announcement:

Congratulations to Raven Sanctuary for becoming the first Guild in Star-Moon Kingdom to establish a Guild Residence! Rewarding 10,000 Guild Reputation, 10,000 Guild Popularityy and 10 Gold Coins to the Guild.

Becoming a noble, purchasing the land and creating the Guild Hall. All of these were thing that costed a huge amount of money that even all first guilds money put together wouldn't be enough. Yet Raven Sanctuary already managed to do just that, Leroy had to recognize that the financial backing of the guild was frightening.

The Guild main forces also got quite a number of First Clear in Hell Mode Team Dungeons, increasing the Guild reputation among players and the city.

With higher Guild Popularity, more npcs would comission quests to them and with better rewards.

Guild Residence also had some basic equpment and weapons repair facilities that would allow players to save money in repair fees.

The most luring point about them, however, was the Private Rooms. Raven Sanctuary's Guild Residence had 3,000 Private Rooms, resting on them would give players a Buff that increased the EXP gained for some time, it was a great benefit. The higher the rank of the Guild Residence, the highter amount of rooms and bonus from the EXP buff.

With such a conditions, everyone would most probably flood the Guild Residence

Everywhere in Star-Moon Kingdoms guild and players went insane.

"A guild residence... fuck this guild, they snatch the First Clears and now are the first to get a Residence, we need to hurry up"

"What? a new guild actually got a residence so fast? wouldn't one need to become a noble before doing something like this?"

Players flooded the forums of Star-Moon Kingdom, some expressing their admirations while some others trying to minimize Raven Sanctuary's accomplishment. Obviously, first rate guilds, specially those at Star-Moon City, were not happy with this.

They actually clashed some times with Raven Sanctuary and knew about their fearsome strength, each person there could be considered an expert, a four hundred man team of them already gave first-rate guilds a headache and forced them to retreat many times. Now that such a guild managed to get a Guild Residence, their popularity could only grow, this could attract even more experts to join them.

"This is the location of our Guild Residence...." He sent a Guild Message with the location and also moved there.

The Guild Residence was very large, capable of housing thousands of player even at 1-star. Besides the mansion that was replaced by the Guild Hall, the rest of the land remained as beautiful as before.

Soon after, one guild member after the other arrived.

"Hahaha, lad, you truly found a great place!" Old Pat arrived and patted his shoulders

"Indeed, this place is beautiful" Elise also came when she heard there was a knew mansion for them.

"Finally we have a proper gathering point" Louis also contemplated the place.

Everyone was satisfied seeing the new Guild Residence and taking account it's location.

"Yes, it is something that not even a Count should be able to acquire, probably only because I was the first to reach the rank, this land was available to me" Leroy explained "Also, the adquisition of land will have to be delayed, we currently don't have even five hundred gold coins" he smiled bitterly.

"It's alright, with the forging design that you gave us, money won't be a problem much longer" Old Pat didn't mind expending more money if it was worth the price. "We have already started signing contracts with the Lifestyle players, they'll soon start crafting items for us. Elise is now in charge of recruiting the Tailors"

As BadHalo, Felicity and the others saw the residence, all of them stood to contemplate it.

"Guild Master, now that you've reached a noble rank, you can enter the library and even bring people along. According to our information, a player can even learn and craft their own spells there" BadHalo reported

"Craft our own spells?" Leroy was a bit shocked at fist but soon a smile formed on his face "Good, good, here I tought it would be weird if there was no self-creating skill system so that's how it was..." He finally could try to craft his own spells!

"I'll bring some of you there, you will have much more information available from there. Also, BadHalo, I need information about Personal Guards, they should be permanent npc guards for noble players." Leroy commented. Compared to gather information from other players and gropus, researching the Library could provide a much higher amount of information about the kingdom.

"Understood, I'll pass down the order to search for them"

Soon, npc guards started approaching the guild residence, with some players who followed their movement, trying to see if they could get a Quest.

Suddenly, one of the npc guards approached Leroy.

"My Lord, the we have arrived, from today on you don't need to worry about your territory security" The Guard Captain bowed.

"Great, then, from today onward this will be Raven Sanctuary's Guild Residence. Old Pat, I'll leave the distribution of the Private Rooms to your logistics team, with our current guild size they should be able to be enough for every member." Leroy took a look at the big sign with their guild logo and walked toward the library. He couldn't hold himself anymore, guild matters weren't as interesting as researching new spells.

"Alright, you go take a look inside, I'll be going to the Library"

"Wait, we will also go there" Louis and BadHalo tagged along, there'll be time to see the Guild Residence in the future, the information in the Library was much more important, one need to know that only nobles and a few people recognized by them could enter the library, how much of an advantage over other guilds would they have entering sooner?.

The dozens of players who saw the scene of guards bowing and entering the Guild Residence shocked the sorrounding players and a storm of gossip spread around the city. Raven Sanctuary actually acquired one of, if not the best, location available in Star-Moon City and created a Guild Residence. They even had a hundred high Level guards there!. They wondered how the Guilds that usually clashed with them would react now.

"I wish to enter the library and give permission to these people following me to enter, too" Leroy asked the library guard as soon as he arrived.

"Lord Count and guests, please enter, we will take care of the registry of your friends, so that they will gain access anytime" As the library guard spoke, those players trying their look and enter the library went wide eyed.

"Lord Count? a player actually became a Count?"

"Take a look at their emblems, it is the Riven Sanctuary guild!"

"It should be Guild Master Sensations leading the way"

Once again, rumours started propagating around Star-Moon City and soon to other places of the kingdom, this matter was too shocking.

It wasn't long before many guilds tried to contact him to talk about cooperation, but he just redirected them to Felicity who colaborated with the intelligence team members to manage them.

Star-Moon City Library was huge, tall bookshelft seem to be everywhere the eye could see.

"My Lord, how can I help you today?" an Npc greeted Leroy respecfully.

"I came to research and craft my spells, my companions are looking for information about the kingdom, please." He also replied respectfully. As expected, as soon as he heard the Count talking to him so politely, the npc failed to suppress a big smile on his face.

"Yes, Lord Count, I'll accomplish the task as best as possible" the librarian said and led Leroy to a desk with a water ball in the center.

"My Lord, with these item, you can learn and craft new spells. In the right bookshelf are the best books that have inspired many of the best spells of the kingdom" The librarian really gave him the best spot possible in the library.

"Thanks, I wish to focus on my research now..." Leroy spoke inmediatly taking a seat.

"Of course, please guests, feel free to call me if you are looking for some specific information" the librarian walked while being followed by BadHalo and Louis.
