Chapter 9: Information dump, the 8 Sects.
"Oh right, since you're a doctor yourself, why didn't you treat that person that i slapped yourself?" Saitama asked.
Soul Immortal, Bob sighed.
"He is my disciple Master, for his unforgivable action, me not healing him will act as his punishment for offending master this time, and also a punishment for attempting in devouring the souls of the inhabitants you Master previously presides." Now that Bob think about it, his disciple is really foolish this time, attempting to devour all the souls in Master's world. Does that also mean he is also planning on harming his master? One cannot imagine such scene of what will happen is Saitama will be truly enraged.
"Souls? Why does your disciple need to devour souls?" Saitama asked.
Bob remembered that his master has zero knowledge in regards to cultivation.
"Master, we practice an art called 'Cultivation'. It is a way of enhancing, improving and evolving your body to be more powerful. By Cultivating, one will become more powerful in body, mind and soul. One can also gain mystical powers by cultivating, one way of gaining mystical powers is by comprehending and learning 'Skill Books', books that contain said mystical skills. For one to cultivate, one must find a cultivation that fits them, one that they have an affinity with. Take me as an example , I have a high amount of talent and potential in regards to souls, so I cultivate the Soul Devourer technique, it is a cultivation technique that can increase one's cultivation by devouring souls and refining them. My disiciple, Soul Fiend, is also a practitioner of the Soul Devourer technique. Him going to your world means he has the intention of using your people's soul to aid his cultivation." Bob meticulously explained. But he was now sweating when he reached the part of the Soul Devourer technique, as he saw Saitama's squinting when he heard that one can be powerful if one devour souls.
"Devour souls? That is quite ruthless no?" Saitama questioned.
Bob shivered.
"Don't worry master, even though I cultivated Soul Devorer technique, I don't kill those that are innocents and will only target who are worthy to be killed." Bob hastily explained.
Saitama nodded.
"Ok then, but you better promise not to use innocents as a way for you to powerup." Saitama sternly ordered. He was happy giving thay order because it made him feel like a true teacher.
"Yes master!" Bob responded. After hearing Saitama's order, Bob decided to refrain from devouring souls unless it is necessary even to the extent of delaying the progress of his cultivation, that is how committed he is towards Saitama's order.
"And how about this world? Do you have any information?" Saitama asked. Usually Saitama will be pissed if someone is talking too much but not right now as because the topic is about the other world he was in.
"Give me a moment Master." Bob said.
As he said, he released his dominating and imposing immortal aura, as if the heaven was screaming in anguish and the earth trembling with fright. His entire demeanor of an eager student was nowhere to be seen and was now replaced by the aura of an overlord of a realm, his entire being screamed with authority and demand absolute obedience. He was now showing the true might of a Martial Immortal.
As Bob released his aura, he used his inexhaustible senses to envelop the whole Sky Imperial Realm, finding every corner of the realm, leaving nothing unexplored. His sense covered the realm that has the size billions of miles of radius, he explored the deepest ocean in the realm, the burial grounds, the ancestral foundations, every sect, every mortal, every cultivator, every mountains, every seas and even the skies he all covered them. Even the ongoing sect wars in the west he knew, the massacre of a big family in the east he knew, the preparation of war between 6 empires he knew, even the recect massacre of Revant village he knew.
Of course no one sensed his senses in the realm as he intended to inspect the realm in secrecy.
Soon he retracted his senses and digested all the information he gathered but then he frowned.
Some places he inspected cannot be inspected at all, as if those places are black holes where his senses cannot penetrate. His senses are so powerful that there is nothing he cannot inspect, no one can resist and endure and all can only helplessly struggle against his senses. But the fact that there are places his senses cannot penetrate here, it seems like this lower realm is not as simple as he thought.
All mentioned above only happened for a minute, just the fact that Bob send his senses to cover the realm with the size of billions of miles of radius and retracting them back only took a minute showcase how powerful Bob is.
"The place we are currently in is the forest in the jurisdiction of the Greenwood Sect." After digesting all the information, Bob started.
"Sect? What is a sect?" Saitama inquired.
"Master, a sect is a force or an organization of power." Bob replied.
"Ok. Continue". Saitama gestured.
"So right now we are in the territory of Greenwood Sect. Greenwood sect is a tier 1 sect along with 7 others. The 8 sects are Greenwood Sect, Sword Dance Sect, Hero Sect, Beast Claw Sect, Alpha Chro Sect, Phantom Sect, Sky River Sect, and Mystic Petals Sect. All 8 sect are under the authority of the Kingdom of Macta, the current ruler of a domain of the Filpi Continent. The Filpi Continent can be located at the south-east cornermost of this realm. The Filpi Contintent has 13 domains and its current ruler is the Sebo Empire, which is the Sebo Imperial Family." Bob decided to stop here, he refrain giving more information as he was still wary of those unexplored places that can be located anywhere beyond the Filpi Continent, before he truly know what those uknowin places is, he will refrain from telling Saitama about it.
