'Kree, my daughter, since your Uncle Hyunsoo is having difficulties in running the Advertising company... other shareholders are planning to change the CEO because they don't feel confident about Jason being able to handle the problems they have right now. We want to help them. The solution we thought of not only will benefit them, it will benefit us, too.'
Dad then paused and said something that NOT IN A MILLION YEARS I thought I'll hear from him...
'So we decided, as the head of both families, to make our bonds strong by arranging you and Jason's marriage. You've known each other for years and I'm sure that you care for each other. We've decided to release the news as we speak and the wedding will actually be held next week.'
I was staring at them with my mouth open.
WHAT? JASON AND I? MARRIED?
i love him, and I will give everything in this world just to be with him. But in this way. I've always believe that love shouldn't be forced and I honestly think that what they're doing is not right.
THERE'S NO OTHER WAY TO SAVE THE COMPANY? REALLY? WHAT A LAME EXCUSE.
'Uhm, to be honest, I dont know what to say, Dad. Uncle. We're not kids anymore. You can't force us to marry because it will "BENEFIT" all of us.'
I stood up.
'I'm not hungry anymore. I will be going home.'
I didn't even give them a chance to respond. I stepped out and pulled out my phone, I was about to call Jason when my phone was flooded by messages of congratulations.
What a mess.
My phone rang, I checked who was calling me and got nervous when I saw Jason's name on the caller ID.
'Hey jayjay, what's up?'
'We need to discuss something, go to our hangout place. I'm already here. I'll wait for you'
Jason hang up the phone.
Well, damn.
