Chapter 1: The worst job
A young girl ran out of the hospital crying as someone followed her, shouting "look now, how are you going to pay for your father's hospital bill?"
The older woman looked at her as she replied with a shrivelled voice"I-i can sing and earn money if I work in a ba-" She got caught off when the woman slapped her across the cheek.
"You will never bring shame to me again. I got you a job as Lei Cheng's bodyguard.
QiaoQiao think about your father and forget about hatred. You will live with the three Lei brother's."
The woman turned around and headed for the exit. She stopped in her tracks"dont let your mum and dad down, you are still my daughter. You will go there tomorrow."
....
In an all-black attire, Lei Cheng walked into his brother's officeabd sat down. On his way there he summoned his brothers to tell them something important.
Now all brothers were together and all eyes were on Cheng. He initiated the meeting but hasn't said a single word. It was so quiet that his heavy breathing could be heard.
The second son Lei Feng decided ti break the ice "what is it that you made me cancel a meeting?" He was so curious and kept repeating his words until Cheng had enough and shouted furiously as he rose from his seat"Grandpa Lei got me a FEMALE bodygaurd."
Both brothers were aware of how their older bro hated women, apart from their mum. "And she despises me for no reason." Now both brothers were dumbfounded.
The third son thought 'whats the deal, he doesn't like her and so does she. They both despise each other',
"What is the problem now, you don't like each other. She is just here for work" said Lei Feng.
Lei Cheng just ignored his brothers and left. He was happy that the girl doesn't like him, he wanted to know her reason. And he couldn't believe such a woman exists and thinks she is faking.
Now he was impatient and couldn't wait to see her...she seemed interesting.
....
Yue Qiao wasn't the type of girl to do things that disgust her, but she had no other option. She was doing this for her father and partly herself. She has to work for the same man who put her father in a coma.
As she was packing her stuff, her mum or should she say step-mum entered. She hated this woman. Her step-mum hated her because she couldn't have her own kids.
"Get up and put your stuff in the car. We are leaving now"
Yue Qiao hurriedly put her stuff in and sat down. The car was filled with silence until they reached the Lei brothers mansion. The last thing she heard from her step mum say was that she shouldn't embarrass her again.

Lei Cheng was waiting for her arrival. He looked at his brothers who were comfortably relaxing. They were also intrigued on what this woman looked like, especially Lei Feng who doesn't know he has had an encounter with her.
Two minutes later they hear their doorbell, the ecstatic Lei Mo rushes over to open the door and when he does so, all brothers are in shock.
'Is this the woman who rejected my brother before seeing him' Mo pondered.
Cheng thought to himself 'this woman despises me? How is she this beautiful? Its obviously one of her tricks to trap me.'
While two brothers wondered who she was one remembered her.
"Heroine?!!" Lei Feng shouted which broke the silence and shocked the two other brothers.

Qiao stepped out of the car and watched it leave. She looked around, from the outside alone it was extremely beautiful. As she stepped in, she felt all eyes on her but didn't say a thing. She already knew who was who but didn't want to use her energy."Heroine?!!" she heard someone shout and turned her head to see Lei Feng who she saved once at a bar.
"Brother Feng? Are you alright, have your wounds healed" with sincere concern in her eyes she asked him and touched his shoulders he laughed and replied "I am fine, you still look as good as before but with less tears."
He looked at his elder brother and started ranting "Elder brother, you got the best bodyguard, I am so jealous. Since you don't like her can I have her. I mean you're already in her black book so..."

He stood there in shock pondering on how his brother knew her. He kept quiet until her heard his brother talk about him. Interrupting him he grunted "I am not the one who hired her. Let's see how you convince Old man Lei"
With saying that Lei Feng introduced her to his brothers. "This blondy is the youngest, Lei Mo. He is also stubborn" he said pointing at a shocked guy. I am sure you know my elder brother. She replied " I know him", her voice was cold and sent shivers done all their spines. The disgust in her tone showed them that she really hated Brother Cheng.

She noticed how intimadating her voice was and how awkward the room became. She decided to break the silence by bringing up what happened at the bar. She now knew, this was going to be the worst job ever...
*This is my first novel. I am young and this is all still new to me. I hope I gain experience and you all support me as I try my best. I don't upload everytime because I have a busy school life and I still find it a but hard to balance everything. Thank you to those who support me.
