Synopsis
Pierrette is the oldest daughter of Duke Jean-Claude of Villefranche. How is she supposed to react when her father, with her step family, abandon the dukedom during a siege?
She is supposed to save her people of course. The kind girl must use all her cunning and intelligence to protect those under her, even if it means she must sacrifice herself to the foreign army of Prince Clement-Victor of Varzy.

Review on this wonderful novel. Pierret the daughter of the Duke of Villafrench was abandoned by her father, stepmother and brothers, her father left her in charge of her village Villafrench because the prince of another kingdom is attacking. She has no feelings for this kingdom or the royal family, she just wants the people of her town to be safe and sound and to achieve that, she has to take the power of the Duchy in her hands, win the hearts of the people and use diplomatic strategies with the prince who is going to attack them and he succeeds ... I love the personality of our FL and the methods and reasoning you use, thank you author, I hope you come back soon.
Hello readers, I am shamelessly reviewing myself at 5 stars, because I can. I hope everyone is enjoying the story, and please let me know your thoughts! I want to be better. Also updates are Wed. Fri. and Sun. at midnight on the server (So the day may very for you.)
This book is good with a strong female character. Although there are only 5 chapters out it is interesting, and you are rooting for Pierrette. She seems to be a little in over her head but I guess we will see how well the story developes as the author updates. Will defiantly update my review if my opinion changes.
Amazing. Absolutely amazing. I don't leave reviews often but I had to for this. The characters are well written, it's easy to understand even though it goes deep the world is also well written. Some mistakes with word usage and grammar but other than that it's amazing and I can't wait for more. Solid 10/10
