Chapter 22: Is This Love?

Simon was not prepared for the welcome he got when he, Zeke and Bella got the restaurant. Diane wrapped him in a hug and Alex ruffled his hair. “It’s about time, kid. Zeke here was getting really boring.”

Zeke scowled at him. “Zion…” he whined. “Your boyfriend is being mean to me.”

“What?” Zion asked, his eyes amused. “You were getting…boring.” To Simon. “So when did you get back?

“I found him in my kitchen, when I got in this morning.” Zeke said, a huge grin on his face as they sat down.. “Nearly gave me a heart attack.”

“You?” Simon rolled his eyes. “He stood there like some creep, not saying anything. I almost screamed.”

“Almost?” Zeke chuckled. Simon rolled his eyes, blushing.

“Whatever dude.” Simon said, dismissively. “You’re scared of ducks.”

Zeke stopped smiling and put his face in his hands muttering. “Not this again.”

Simon jumped when Bella and Zion cackled. “Oh my God! You found out…”
