Anyone familiar with the SPC foundation is aware of this infamous SCP-682, or known by the alias hard-to-destroy reptile, this cold blooded anomaly lives up to the name, it is known to be nigh indestructible and any damage done to it is almost immediately repaired with the reptile adapting to the method of destruction, other anomalies have been tested with this creature and most SCPs get swiped at by the behemoths claws for tempting to approach it, for example SCP-049 who is known for curing things, was swiped at and became uncomfortable with the presence of this reptile. There have been scarce cases where SCP-682 reacts differently either being scared, hyper aggressive, or docile.
The best of these examples are SCP-999, a.k.a the tickle monster, SCP-053, a.k.a the young girl, SCP-173, a.k.a the statue or Peanut, and lastly SCP-017, a.k.a the shadow monster. When tested with SCP-999 The reptile has acted completely docile and even known to give what we can guess is a smile from this ferocious beast, it seems the tickle monster lives up to its name.
SCP-173 is a weird situation for the reptile, because as soon as SCP-173 entered the containment cell the lizard scampered to the opposite side of the room as if scared of the anomalous statue, the researcher responsible for this experiment, DR.[REDACTED], proceeded to turn off the lights so the statue could move, when the lights turn back on the lizard seems to be moderately damaged with the statue still on the lizards back and but it seems the lizard is still fearful of the statue and demands it to be removed even though it cannot seem to kill the lizard, more testing needed.
SPC-682 Seemed to act hyper aggressive towards SCP-017, as soon as the shadow entered the reptile seemed to grow aggressive and yell profanities at the shadow, as if disgusted by this anomaly using words such as "foul creature" and "abomination", and also demande to be removed after toying around with the shadow like a chew toy.
The most interesting encounter though, is SCP-053, the young girl, the reptile was surprisingly docile at this child in the containment room with it, it even let the young girl draw all over it, and even let the girl mount it like a horse, when attempted to separate the girl from the lizard, SCP-682 acted aggressive towards the containment staff, in later interviews when researchers asked why the anomaly felt like protecting the young girl. The answer giving still sends shivers down the spine and she was restricted from ever meeting it again.
"THAT GIRL IS MY MOUNT, MY RIDER, MY PURPOSE. SHE BRINGS DEATH TO ALL AROUND HER, BECAUSE SHE IS DEATH, SHE BRINGS SOMETHING BIGGER THAN US ALL. SHE. BRINGS. THE. APOCALYPSE!"
