Second chance?! [Dropped! For now!] Chapter 4

<ALEX, WAKE UP!>

'Whoa !? Huh !? What's happening Utaha?'

as I steady my tired body and mind, there was a noise of branches and leaves being stepped on.

<There's a group of goblin coming toward you. I think they are attracted to the smell of cooked meat last night you made.>

'SH*T!!'

As I was slowly pulling out my wakizashi, I ready myself to fight them. It was still early in the morning so there's not much light yet and it's a forest so there are many dark spots to prepare an ambush. adrenaline started to kicks in and I started to get nervous, I mean it's a humanoid monster it was different from a wild boar. I breathe slowly since it's damn quiet in the morning and started to walk to a bush to hide.

Then I see a goblin which is about 80 cm. It isn't wearing any armor only carrying what looks like a man-made spear. Then I saw the second goblin carrying a dagger. The third one came up carrying some kind of a sharp horn. The last one showed up with a man-made spear. They scavenged my campfire spot which really making a mess out of it.

As they were scavenging the campfire the one who carries a sharp horn makes some noise which I assume it's talking to them. Then they spread out to search a trace of me, I followed the one who's carrying a dagger. As I'm going to ambush him, he suddenly stopped and started to inspect his surrounding. I stopped, slowed my breathing, and kept ducking so he won't notice me. As soon as he stops inspecting and start walking I jumped on him and slash the head from its body.

As the head rolls down I took the dagger with me and put the corpse to my inventory. After that, I search for its other fellows, about 1 minute went by I found the one who's carrying a sharp horn. I walk slowly and dash aiming its neck with my wakizashi since I was making a lot of noise he turned around and faced directly at me. But before he readies his weapon I already slash his neck, it was a painful death since I didn't cut his head from its body but cutting open his neck.

I took the body and the weapon with me.

As the other 2 died as well because they didn't notice me and I was using the same tactic to get near them and kill them. I got back to my campsite and it was wrecked, fortunately, my sleeping bag didn't even touched by them and so I was relieved.

As soon she said that I swore that I will love her till the end of my life. I took out my water canteen to drink and wash my face. Then I started to inspect the new function, it's like a map which I could see and I can see a blue dot in the middle which means it's me. There's a red dot I assume hostile entity or enemy.

'Utaha can I know how much this new map covers?'

Then I begin to think about the pros and cons, then I started to cook the boar meat while I'm thinking.

'Hm... I mean fire, water, and healing is essential for me right now. Fire for skills, making a campfire, and cooking. Water is also important as I need to drink water, cleaning my gears, and bathing also. Healing is crucial also since I will train my body so I can just spam the healing spells but do my mind can hold on? I mean physically I can heal it with healing spells but mental tiredness isn't a joke also.'

for a couple of minutes, I think hard while making a frown.

'Well, maybe I can practice my will this way since I need to pass through impossible challenges also. Utaha I'll buy them'

Then I took out 3 books about Fire magic, Water magic, and Healing magic. Since I bought photographic memory I finished the books in minutes. After that, I was trying the water magic since I need to fill my canteen. I started to follow the steps from the book that I just read. After couple tries I made a blob of water, then I started to visualize making it to flow around me. Failure after failure I gave up to control it for now because I fear that my mana will be spent just for me trying to control the water. then I ask Utaha.

'Utaha do you have kind of tub that I can fit in for bathing?'

'Ok, then can you buy it?'

I took out the wooden tub and started to fill the tub with my magic water. After making it full, suddenly I feel weak. I ask Utaha.

'Utaha, what's happening to my body? Why am I feeling so weak right now?'

Then I get my canteen and started to fill it up first before I get naked to wash my body after the canteen is full I started to wash my body. Then I started to wash my gears in the water. Then I dump all the water to the ground and store the wooden tub to inventory. Realize that I was cooking all this time and the meat is ready to eat, I immediately took the meat and eat it.

'Hm... it's already midday I need to find a cave for now.'

2 hours of walking to find a cave finally I found a cave. Then I visualize a fire in my hand and it worked. I started to explore the cave, the cave wasn't that deep so I can live there. And so I started to buy beds or futon, couple sets of clothes, a lamp that uses some kind of a core that stores magic, all of it cost around 600 points. I reorganize the beds, campfire for making foods, filling the magic core lamp with my magic, and changing clothes. Then I went to the entrance of the cave to make some traps like pitfall and some pitfall with wooden sticks on the base of it. After that, I started cooking since the meat is raw and it will take a long time. While I'm cooking I started to train [Lightning Breathing], then as the smell of delicious food coming out. I started to eat it and continue to practice [Lightning Breathing] until it was night. Then I slept after spending a tiring day.
