The word echoed several times in Liu Kai's head. He doesn't know why, but he hates it when people underestimate him. Moreover, he took it personally because he had a pitiful life before the Great Catastrophe. Such words cut deeper than the daggers that pierced his back earlier.

"What's with your face, lowlife? Does that ring a bell to you?" queried Flynn Schneider, making fun of his serious expression.

Liu Kai opened his mouth, still looking down, and mumbled something.

"What is it!? I can't hear you, lowlife!"

At last, Liu Kai raised his head and stared at Flynn Schneider. "I told you to shut your mouth, or I'll shut it for you!"

"Hahahahaha, you're bluffing. You can't even get clo–"

In a blink of an eye, Liu Kai vanished from his sight.

'Where did he go?'

Flynn Schneider tried to look around, using the gaps on the daggers' vortex, but failed to locate Liu Kai anywhere on the rooftop.
