Secrets of the Lonely

So, this is a WIP. If you've read my other novels, this is something totally different. I realize I have quite a few novels in progress, but there's a reason for that down below. This will be Classroom of The Elite-esk, mostly games of like. cat and mouse. MC is going to be difficult to write, but I'll manage.

Synopsis will be further down, but I have taken quite a few breaks from my various novels because I have been diagnosed with OSDD (Other Specified Dissociative Disorder). It's really similar to MPD (Multiple Personality Disorder, it's former terminology). This one is being written by a specific alter, and I apologize if the update schedules are hectic. My life has become as hectic as the update schedules are. (Cover isnt mine, I edited it slightly.) Anyways, Synopsis below:


'I've seen suffering, and these people haven't even witnessed what it truly is. The true face of suffering comes in the form of the ones you trust the most. It lurks underneath your shadows, in your past. Hiding beneath the surface, just waiting to enrapture you.

None of these students see it. They don't understand it as I do. It's not as simple as they seem to think. A killer on the loose scares them, but the look of disdain their parents give them after every failed test doesn't even phase them.

Really, they should all be worried about what goes on behind closed doors. Aruna's father is a cheater, lying and gambling his way to fame. Takue's mother drowns her sorrows in liquor, attempting to forget her husband's suicide. Ayato's sister sleeps with a different guy every day in a desperate attempt to hold together her failing life. True suffering, the essence of which can't even be looked at in the eyes, hides from them, and they're too scared to even look it in the eyes.'

I slammed my journal closed. I couldn't have spaced out for more than a few minutes. Guilt weighs on my mind, but I shove it down nonetheless. Emotions are worthless, set in place by a God that doesn't even care for you. Ahh...I guess school starts soon. Oh well, it'll be at least somewhat interesting, maybe.
