Chapter 1: Chapter 1
So, she was going to her work after her class, and she was late and she hurry to work. When she was running to her workplace, she bumps into a guy, and he was holding a cup of Starbucks coffee and it accidently pour all over his chest. I tried to help him, but he moved my hand and said, "excuse me what are you trying to do?" and I just said guiltily "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to bump on you and ruining your shirt." And i handed him my handkerchief for him to wipe but he just glared at me and clean his shirt and he said, "do you think you can pay my shirt back?" I heard what he is saying but I'm really in rushing so I just wrote my phone number on a sticky note and I just paste it on his arm and I ran while shout "I'M SO SORRY I'M REALLY LATE AND I WILL PAY BACK FOR YOUR SHIRT, DON'T WORRY EVEN IF IT'S COST MY ARM SO JUST CONTACT ME USING THAT NUMBER, BYE" As I ran far away I couldn't really hear his voice anymore.
After I finish my work, I went to my home as usual, and my house was damn messy so I have to clean up everything as I didn't see any of them at house and I already know that they will definitely come back late or probably in the morning. After I have cleaned up the house, I felt so hungry but I saw the fridge was empty as my life is so I went down to the shop to buy some stuff just enough for me to eat if I bought a lot then I know they will finish it. Even though sometimes I don't mind sharing my foods but if it's every day I must buy the grocery for all of them I will become broke as I'm just a student and I'm working just to save up my money for my education. When I wanted to cross the road, I heard someone is honking but I didn't bother to turn since I didn't do any fault, so I never thought that the person is honking at me.
After the roads look a bit clear I wanted to cross but suddenly someone stop in front of me and open the windows and said, "Hey my dear lady where you trying to run from me, huh?" at first, I thought the guy telling a wrong person or drunk then after a minute I went to realized that this was the guy that I bumped onto this afternoon. "Oh, hey I'm so sorry for what happen just now. I just couldn't stay more longer because I have work and now I wanted to go to that store (while pointing the store) and the shop going to closed in 20 mins so if you don't mind can I just go there and buy my grocery's and I will be back to you and I promise I won't run away from you" I took my pinkie fingers to make him sure that I really won't run away.
After he think for 2 mins, he just said that "you know what I'll just park my car and go to the store with you, what if you just run away from me after that so better, I follow you there." He stated. "I already told you I'm not going to but if you still didn't believe me then yeah just follow me if that makes you satisfied." I told him and he just nodded and park his car at the corner of the road.
We went to store together but somehow, I feel awkward as I don't know what to talk so just ask him "hmm, I know that I have ruined your shirt but can we just settle this for good, I don't want you to follow me as I did a big sin" he just quiet and playing with his phone. I took the shopping basket and put all of the stuff that I want and I trying to reach for the chocolates that I want but it was hard for me to reach and I'm not that short just the chocolate was too high for me .And I just used my index finger and called him " hmm can u reached that for me" I point at the kinder bueno and he just laugh at me "shortie" he said while laughing and I glared at him " excuse me I'm not short okay, I'm 5'5" feet okay" after I said he laugh again and he said while laughing "well I'm 6'0" HAHAHAHA" and I just walk away from him and it just make me mad and embarrassed. He run to me "okok I'm sorry maybe you are tall as a woman"
I just take my chocolates and walk to the cashier to pay my things. "I think you should put the chocolate on the lower shelf next time" I just tell the cashier and the cashier was confused and just nodded.
I took all of my things and I turned to him "so now let's settle the things here." He scratched his back and quiet for a minute and I just realized that I don't know what his name is so I just ask, "oh yeah what's your name by the way?" "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, my name is Lucas" and I just nodded and i told him mine "I'm Hye Jin"
Me:" Actually you can just text me if you need the money, i can just transfer to you" is state to him
Lucas POV
Back to my realization that I must ask for her help on my family dinner this coming weekend. Well, I have a girlfriend but I couldn't ask for her help since mama doesn't like her so I must find someone else if not mama will keep on nagging at me to find one so that they will think i'm capable enough. Even though what she did just small things spill the coffee on my shirt but what I'm going to ask her is more advanced. I must be brave and ask her right away. I'll think on how to ask her if she's not into it.
