Chapter 46: AELFRIC.
Rose couldn't say anything, Her body was shaking with fear, and the man was staring right down at her.
"Chen is a lucky guy to have a mate as beautiful as you."
Mate. Rose's brows furrowed.
Crack!, Crack!!!.
Romulus stood up from the ground, there was a huge black portal in the middle of the reception area. Two people stood next to it. The guy seemed to be the one controlling the portal, and the woman was controlling the dead bodies of the rogues, scattered all over the ground.
The bodies entered through the portal, and while the new intruders stared at him, Romulus didn't say anything; he just watched as the bodies kept jumping into the portal then the young lady followed.
The young man looked at him for some time before jumping into the portal and the portal disappeared.
Rose was too scared to move, and Romulus looked down at her.
"I will get your mate to send you home."
With that Romulus jumped over the table and left.
"That's everything that happened." Romulus was done narrating what happened to Aurelia and Aelfric.
Aelfric looked not less than twenty. His skin was white as snow, and he had long silver hair, laser blue eyes, a perfectly straight nose, and pink lips.
His beautiful large laser eyes narrowed. "They got here before our ambulances and forensics teams." He said and Romulus nodded.
"Something terrible is about to go down," Aurelia said with a very serious face.
Aelfric looked at Cyrus, he walked up to Cyrus whose face kept contorting in pain
"He is one of the Dragon flame clan, is that right Aurelia?" His eyes met hers and her face turned into a shade of pink.
"Yes he is." she quickly turned her face away.
Romulus couldn't help but smile, Aelfric is said to be the most beautiful being on earth, not even a woman could compete with his beauty.
"Curse-sucking tree." He said in a calm soothing voice and raised his hand with his palm wide open.
A tree began appearing, and a huge tree appeared right where his palm is, the branches of the tree wrapped Cyrus and something like a pipe protruded from the tree and latched on his abdomen and began to suck in the curse.
Romulus and Aurelia looked in awe as the tree sucked out the curse. Soon Cyrus's face regained its color and the tree disappeared.
"Take me to the other patients," Aelfric said
Romulus nodded his head before leading the way.
Ria rushed out to her office and ran into ward 4. The place now looked like a jungle, she rushed over to Aelfric and bowed to him.
"You must be doctor Ria?"
Ria was shocked.
"I am honored to be recognized by our great Leader Aelfric." She tried her best to hide her joy.
"Well let's go to wards 6 and 8.
After Aelfric was done, they stepped out of the ward and stood in the hallway.
"What's the problem, you look troubled?" Romulus asked.
"None of them would last more than three years." The hall was already silent, the agents had arrived to clear the scene and the remaining patients were asked not to leave their rooms.
Ria began to cry. "Why is that?" her voice cracked when she asked.
"The witches, Vampires, and werewolves who came posing as workers were feeding on them. More than half of their souls, and important organs are gone, the only thing keeping them alive is me." Aelfric informed the two.
Ria kept crying, "Is not fair." She fell to the ground as she kept crying.
BACK IN THE PLACE.
He hummed, everything would be proven in Forty minutes.
The queen dropped her fork and looked at her husband. "How are you so calm, Ariadna has not been found, I wonder if she's ok." The Queen looked worried.
"She's with me," Trent spoke and the clicking and chewing stopped.
The queen stood up and walked up to him. "What did you just say?"
Ella suddenly felt a scary aura exuding from the woman.
"She's with me." He looked her straight in the eyes.
"Why would she be with you?" she asked in a low voice.
"What is going on Trent?" He looked at the king whose face has turned serious.
"She was among the girls they kidnapped, my partners and I were able to rescue them….."
"You should have brought her home, where is she!?" She yelled at him.
"She's pregnant." The room became silent, and the warm room and bright-looking atmosphere became dark and chilly.
"What did you just say." The King's voice was filled with anger.
"She's pregnant for her dead lover."
Ella wanted the ground to open and swallow her, she was too scared to move, talk or even breathe.
"Why would they need her, the sacrifice they needed were virgins." The king asked.
"Well, Ariadna is wearing a protective necklace, it deceives the sense of smell. That's why you didn't know she was pregnant because she still gave out the smell of a virgin." Trent explained.
"Where is she?" The Queen asked.
"I can not say," Trent replied.
"What gives you the right to keep me from seeing my daughter." she gnashed her teeth. If not because of the king, she would have killed him a long time ago.
"She doesn't want to meet any of you," Trent answered her before going back to chew his uncooked meat, the juices of the sweet meat mixed with his saliva he wished to close his eyes and savor the taste.
"I am sure that it was Lydia that gave her the necklace." Joel finally spoke
Acher's body went stiff.
"That little witch, how dare she interfere in my family matter, I will kill her." The queen was now fuming.
Faithia smiled evilly, this was her opportunity to get rid of Lydia, she hated Lydia because was much more beautiful than she was.
"I suggest we kill her right away Mother, what gives her the right to interfere and try to ruin the reputation of the royal family," Faithia added
"I asked her to do it." They all looked at Acher. The King didn't say anything and looked at Trent who was enjoying his meat and grape wine. Scratch that. He was enjoying a glass of fresh blood.
Ella on the other hand has lost her appetite. "Is the breakfast not to your liking?" Trent whispered into her ear, she could feel his hot breath on her ear.
"You're too close," she gently pushed him back. He smiled at his silver eyes met with the king's black ones.
"Why, why in the world did you do that?"
The mother almost fainted, Joel swiftly stood up from his seat and caught her before she falls.
"I wanted her to be with the man she loved and would make her happy." He replied with his eyes looking down at his plate."
"Happy, how could she be happy with a filthy human being, I chose a better partner for her."
Ella was hurt by what the Queen said, she couldn't believe that the royals still looked down on humans.
Acher started to laugh.
"Did you say a better life partner like the one you chose for me? You made me marry Dominica, and how did it turn out, not only did she try to take control of my mind, but when she couldn't succeed she tried to kill me. If not because of Lydia, I would be dead by now. And my son hates me, he wants me dead, he wants nothing to do with his family, he always locks himself up in his room!!!!" His eyes glistened with tears, pain, and regret.
The room was silent, nobody spoke or moved, the sound of the dining room door was heard, and a man in a green cotton suit walked in. He bowed his head.
"The guests are here, your presence is needed."
"Let's attend to our guest first, we would discuss this after the party.
The family slowly left the dining halls but the Queen, Joel, and Faithia kept throwing daggers at Trent.
"You have some explaining to do," Ella whispered to him.
"I know he whispered back.
Looks like there is going to be a lot of drama in this palace. Trent thought to himself with a smirk.
