Selfish Love

Simran is an NRI, and is married off in a little village in the hills of Himachal Pradesh. She, who has lived abroad all her life among luxury and servants accepts this marriage proposal only because her father wished that she marry there. Though hesitant, whether she will be able to adjust to a totally different culture and environment , she marries because she instantly falls in love with the man her father had chosen for her. The man is a handsome, tall and dynamic personality, known by everyone in the village. People look upto him and aspire to be like him. Suddenly she finds herself in an environment totally opposite to what she had been living in. The story shows the journey of Simran from the tender age of twenty to fifty. The ups and downs she faces along the journey of life. Her once so loving husband changes into an abusive and short tempered person. Ultimately she reaches a point where she breaks down and has to take a big decision. Will that decision make her life or take her life to a totally new direction?
