Chapter 111: Doubts

Lexus felt like an idiot to have raised his voice to Anna when he already knew that she was very sensitive ever since she reached her seventh month.

He had been very careful with his words and actions over the past weeks. 

But due to the surprise of suddenly seeing Anna at his office and the worry that something could have happened to her while on the way due to all the possible dangers, he raised his voice before he knew it.

That was the first time he did that since they got married. And Anna clearly didn't like it. She was clearly offended.

Of course. Who would like getting yelled at?

Lexus instantly felt bad and was at a loss for words for a few seconds when he realized what he had done. But it was too late now.

What he didn't understand though was how Anna interpreted it as him being ashamed and disgusted with her.

That wasn't true in the slightest.
