Chapter 2: 20-05-2018(02)
Turning back slowly towards my room, I saw Sanjana in a flash of lightning with earphones plugged in her ears, holding a knife in her hands close to her chest with a disturbing look.
"What the fuck are you doing here? Shouldn't you be on your way home? You almost scared me!" I shouted, trying to get close to her.
Suddenly she started swinging the knife on to me.
"Don't be scared, my baby! We will both be dead before you even know!"
Dodging those swings, I somehow managed to push her away.
"What happened to you? Have you gone crazy? Can't you recognize me? I am your Dhruv!"
She fell backward, and one of her earphone buds got off. Hurriedly plugging it back in, she got up at a leisurely pace with the same freaky look on her face.
Avoiding me by not even looking into my eyes and listening to music through earphones, she started dancing, singing the lyrics of her favorite song, Blank Space.
I, being scared and perplexed, started running to my friend in the west wing, being followed by her.
On reaching his floor, I started banging his room door, shouting.
"Bhaskar! Open the door! Please! Hurry up!"
I heard her footsteps approaching with her voice growing louder and louder.
"Come on, man! Open the goddamn door!"
When I was about to break the door, he opened, yawning with sleepy red eyes.
"What do you want at this time of the night, asshole?
Shoving past him, I entered his room and locked the door from inside by pulling him in.
"What the shit is wrong with you, dude? What are you doing?" he asked, being puzzled.
By looking through the window, searching for her, I found the floor gloomy and deserted and footsteps were still approaching with a female voice singing.
"Can you please tell me what's going on here?" he started yelling in confusion.
"Sanjana is here! She tried to kill me swinging her knife! She is sick! She's sick! That crazy look on her face! I somehow escaped from her!"
"Oh...! Oh...! Hold on, there! What are you saying? Sanjana! Here! How could it be? She was on the train when I called her!"
"No! No! Can't you hear the song she's singing right now? Have you gone deaf?"
"Yeah! I can hear it. It's probably some crazy fucker pranking you! Let's go fuck that motherfucker!"
"Hey man, now listen to me carefully! Don't you dare open the door! How am I supposed to convince you?" I pushed him away from the door when he was about to open it.
"She was in my room, holding a knife! She didn't even look into my eyes! I don't know what the fuck is wrong with her! She is not the Sanjana I knew!"
He took out his phone and made a call to her, keeping a bitch face.
Ring...! Ring...! Ring..! Ring...!

Taking a deep breath, he called her again but this time, with a witch face.
Ring...! Ring...! Ring..! Ring...!

Being annoyed, he called her friend, Indu.
"Where is Sanjana? She is not picking up her phone! I need to talk to her! It's urgent!"
"She is not here! She exchanged her berth with someone else."
"What? Why?"
"I don't know! She said that she wants some privacy and warned me not to follow her to the new compartment!"
"Can you understand how insane that sounds?" he shouted at Indu on the phone.
"What the fuck I can do? I don't know! Maybe, I got feared by seeing a mad look on her face."
"Keep calling her! If she picks up, tell her to call me! It's urgent! Okay! Bye!"
"Now can you listen to me for a second! When I say she is here, she is here! I don't know how? I don't know why? But she is here, and she attacked me with a fucking knife!" I tried to convince him.
Suddenly, the song ceased, creating a terrific silence on the entire floor.
Scream...! Scream...!
Screams of a female voice heard from a distance.
We both lost it for a second but, he couldn't take it anymore and opened the door by pushing me to a side in anger to see who was pranking them.
"You are dead, cock sucker!"
"Wait! It's a trap! Don't go there! It's her! It's her! We don't know what we are dealing with, in her!"
