Chapter 8: Recruiting Kikyo
The days passed, and now it's a day before midterms. The news about Shinji and Kei 'relationship' quickly spread out, and now it's quite known throughout the first years. The bell rang, signaling the end of today's classes, and everyone stood up to leave, but then Kikyo said:
"Before everyone leaves, I want to give you something" she said, and started to give out paper sheets. Once Shinji got one, he smirked, as he looked down on the tests' questions in his hand
"Are these tests' questions? Did you made it by yourself?" asked Maya
"These are tests that an upperclassman gave me. He said that it'll probably be the same questions in tomorrow's tests" answered Kikyo
"Really!?"
"We didn't need to study so hard all this time!"
"It's awesome!"
Numerous students said, and everyone started to thank Kikyo. When Shinji saw that no one was looking, he turned towards Kiyotaka, and raised his thumb positively, like he was saying 'Good job!'. Shinji quickly turned back and started to celebrate with the rest of his classmates

The day of the results of the midterms publishing has arrived. After Sae finished hanging up the results on the board, Shinji smirked as he looked at the results. everyone had decent results. Of course, he also smirked seeing 100 near his name in every subject. Seeing the results, his classmates start to celebrate in the classroom
"To be honest, you impressed me. I never thought you'll be able to get such high scores. No one has received a failed score"
"You had it close, Sudo. You almost didn't pass in the English test!" said Kanji, as he looked at Ken's 44 score in the English test
"Shinji-Kun! Look at this! I got above 80 in all of the subjects! It's my first time getting so many high scores!" said Kei as she walked towards his seat with excitement
"You did good" Shinji said and patted her head
"Though, I'll make sure you'll receive these scores all the time"
"Still, you scored 100 in every subject! You're amazing Shinji-Kun!" said Satsuki as she joined their conversation
"Yeah! Even if we got the questions, getting 100 in everything is amazing!" said Kei as she hugged his arm
"You'll make me blush if you continue complimenting like this!"
"Let's go celebrate after school!" said Maya
"I think it's a great idea. We all worked hard, so we deserve a reward" said Yosuke

After celebrating with the class at the mall, Shinji went to Kiyotaka's room. He was about to knock on the door, and the door opened, and Kikyo walked out of the room
"Shinji-Kun!?" said a surprise Kikyo. Shinji put on a teasing smirk and said:
"Oh? What were the two of you doing alone in here? Is it possible that you're interested in my brother, Kushida-San~~?" he said in a teasing tone
"It's not like that. We celebrated with some friends here, and I stayed behind to help clean"
"And you didn't invite me? I'm hurt" Shinji said with a fake sad tone
"You were with Karuizawa-San, weren't you? So you couldn't come. Anyway, I'll return to my room now" Kikyo said and walked away
"Shinji, she forgot her phone" Kiyotaka said with Kikyo's phone in his hand
"I'll go and give it to her" Shinji said, took the phone, and followed Kikyo. Shinji was about to call out to her, when he noticed she wasn't walking towards her room. Curious, he stayed quiet and followed her, until she arrived at a path next to the sea, with only a metal fence preventing access to the sea.
"You think you're so great and pretty..." said Kikyo in an angry tone, which was completely different than her usual voice
'Have she finally broke down? I'm very lucky so early in the year. First, it was the recording of the girls from class A, then it was the student council president, and now it's Kushida. So many interesting situations~~' thought Shinji, and once again, took out his phone and started to film
"I hate you!" Kikyo shouted
"I hate you I hate you I hate you I hate you!" she continued to shout and started to kick the fence
"Fucking die, Horikita!"
"Stupid bitch!"
'Damn! She's crazy as shit! I knew she's interesting, but that's on a different level than what I thought!' Shinji thought as he continued to watch Kikyo, but then Kikyo received a message on her phone, making a noise
"Who's there?" asked Kikyo in a threatening tone
'Let's try something' Shinji thought, and quickly put his phone in his breast pocket, in a way so the upper part of the phone was visible, allowing the camera to continue filming. Then, he walked out of his hiding place and approached Kikyo
"You forgot your phone in Kiyotaka's room so I came to give it to you, but..." Shinji started to say, as Kikyo quickly started to walk towards him, and snatched her phone out of his hand
"Did you hear?"
"I got to say, I didn't see it coming!" Shinji said with an amused grin. Kikyo then stepped even closer, so her face was very close to his, and said:
"If you'll tell anyone, you'll pay" Kikyo said with a dreadful tone
"Even if I did, I don't think that anyone would believe me"
"If you'll tell, I'll say that you raped me"
"It doesn't work like this, you know? You'll need something else than just say that I did"
"Don't worry, after all..." Kikyo said and took his hand and pressed it against her breast. If he wanted, he could've resisted her, but decided to see what she's planning.
"Your fingerprints are right here. I'm serious, so drop that smirk off your face" she said and pressed his hand further into her chest For a few seconds, Shinji didn't say anything, but then, he firmly grabbed her breast with the same hand she held, and pulled her closer, making her moan in pain, as her face was now mere inches from his face. Kikyo's eyes widened in fear, as she looked at the psychopathic expression on his face
"You're fascinating! To think you'll have the guts to threaten me... however..." Shinji said as he pulled out his phone, stopped the filming and showed her the video
"You threatened the wrong person" he said with an evil smirk
"You..." said Kikyo with complete shock
"Did you thought that you're the only one hiding her true personality? No, it doesn't matter now. What does matter that instead of you having evidence against me, I have evidence against you! If you'll give that shirt to the authorities, then we'll go to court, and then they'll ask you to testify. Only after you'll testify, I'll reveal this video, and you'll be charged with perjury. The thing is, even if you won't give it to the authorities, I can post this video on the school's forum, and everyone will see the real you, which is the thing you're most afraid of"
"What are you talking about?" said Kikyo with a frown, trying to look intimidating, but failing, as fear is still visible in her eyes
"Don't even try to fool me. It's obvious for someone like me. This also why you hate Horikita so much. You're afraid she knows about you"
"How do you..." Kikyo said as she took a step back
"Since the first day, I knew you were faking, so I did a little research. I know what happened to you, and I know that Horikita was in the same middle school as you. The same school where that incident happened"
"It's impossible... it's confidential information!" Kikyo said with a horrified expression
"For someone with my capabilities, the police network security is nothing for me. So what'll you do? Will you go to the authorities, or will you let me post it online?"
"What do you want?"
"Now you're speaking. You see, no matter how smart I am, it'll be hard to take control of the school on my own"
"Take control of the school? What the hell are you talking about?"
"So you have two options:" Shinji said as he ignored her
"You can end up like any other student who'll oppose me, ending up under my complete control, or you can stand by my side, and rule the school with me, enjoying the best as you can enjoy in this school"
"Even if you managed to catch me off guard, it doesn't mean you can take over the school"
"Let me show you something that may change your opinion" Shinji said, and showed her his point balance, making her eyes wide again
"How can you have so many points!?"
"And I've done it in 50 days. Now choose:
Either I'll destroy your reputation in the school forever, or you'll swear allegiance to me, and no one will ever know your secret"
"And what about Horikita?"
"Don't worry. I'll find out if she knows about you or not. If she is, then I'll personally take care of it"
Shinji watched how Kikyo considering her options before she said:
"Fine. I'll join you"
"Great. But I'll say it to you only once" Shinji said and took a step closer to her, looking at her in the eyes with a threatening cold look
"If I'll find out that you're betraying me, your reputation will be the last thing you'll need to worry about. Am I clear?"
"If you'll truly keep my secret, and you'll let me rule this school as you said, I don't have a reason to betray you"
"Just wanted to make sure you understand. You will rule by my side, but one wrong move, and I'll make your life a living hell" Shinji said and then closed his eyes, and when he opened them, he smiled happily and said:
"Now, let's get back, shall we?"
Kikyo also closed her eyes, and then smiled happily, and said:
"You're right! It's getting late after all!" she said, and the two made their way back
