Chapter 7: Double Dragons

Ten tentacles sloshing out quickly on the air, whipping maliciously to Ranata and sealing all his escape path.
"Hmph! Wanna catch me!? Depending on you!? Unqualified."
Crossing his arm coolly and breathing out turbid air, with arrogant tone, he hurl up three wind blades in the shape of boomerang. Three wind blades arcs in the air, curving their way and cutting through all the tentacles and make their way out to slash the Brain Fiend.
[Whew. Making those blades and shaping them into the intended form is easy. But controlling them to flew and curve in the right angle take all my concentration. Good thing I am already in a cool pose so I don't need to move anymore.]
[You are always wanna do that kind of thing huh, Master~ To look cool on the outside despite working hard in your mind. I see that your chuuni syndrome is not cured even after you reach 21 right now. Well, I hope the audiences is satisfied with our performance.]

[Look. Even your lowest stat, SPI, has already reached 168. And remember that this dungeon hardly have any monster which specialized in magic, unlike that water bag in front of us right now. If we can go to a place with higher leveled monster, especially with magical beings like phantoms and spirits, you can instantly reach 999 after slaughtering all of them. With 999 SPI, if you spend all of your insane amount of SP, summoning a typhoon to swipe over all regions in this continent is not harder than popping cherries. I have calculated it when we are looting earlier. With 999 SPI and by spending 3000 MP, we can clear out this continent of other lifeforms.]
[Oh, I see. Then, let us make haste and finish this ASAP so we can make a good conclusion.]
While chatting like that, the three wind blades has slashed the Brain Fiend, each deals 48 damage to its HP and thus leaving it with 156 HP.
"Huh? The attack weakens.... I guess the blade loses some power when cutting off the tentacles before impact."
Staggering for a bit, the Brain Fiend is now in fury. With its mind control technique, it's easy for it to read their mind. And what they say about it? Those fella says that it is a Water Bag!? It is true that brain have 70-80% water contents, but surely it is an insult? That brat even called it Pig Brain earlier. As a being who have lived for countless years and accumulated wisdom through its age, how can it stand being called a pig brain and a water bag by a 21 year old brat and his imaginary (girl)friend? Spending half of its total MP, it goes on rampage and shadowy aura begin to fill the entire room, crushing and devouring anything in its path.
"Oh, oh, it went berserk. Nice! It's not a Boss Battle if we don't go all out!"
Then, spending 120 MP and exerting the full power of his 168 SPI, he called a typhoon which also rampage and wreaking havoc on the dungeon room.
[Using 168 SPI and spending 120 SP, while your opponent only have 60 SPI and spend 50 MP.... You sure know how to overkill hmm, Master?]
The result of this clash doesn't even need to be said. It's clear as a day under the sunny sky. Not only did the Brain Fiend is juiced like fruits in the blender, the raging wind rampages through over all the dungeon area. The cave collapsed, but fortunately all the debris is swallowed by the typhoon and sent over flying all out of place, leaving Ranata in the center of the typhoon safe and sound, not affected by magical winds which still in his control even though its rampaging out like a child throwing tantrum after their favorite toys are broken.
When all is over, the sky colored by sunrise is seen covering them. They are not in the underground boss room in the cave anymore. The place they are standing now is a wide crater made from the typhoon crushing the cave and throwing the debris out all over the surrounding area. Many rocks in various size can be seen scattered all over. Some are as big as a house, but many are just as small as pebble stone.
"Too bad... With nothing remaining, it seems we have no loot this time except its power and skills."
[That's true. Well, lesson learned: Be moderate and never overdo things.]
[Since this has been finished, let's go to the nearest town now.]

Walking with fast paces while enjoying the surrounding greeneries and chatting in his mind, Ranata met two girls on his way to the town after covering the distance of 5km. Those two girls are very pretty with entirely different flavor. But what caught his attention are information given by Celes.
One have a cute face who gave a sense of innocence, with long blonde hair flowing on her back until reaching her waist like a waterfall of gold. Her figure is wrapped in a long red robe with high slit on her side which didn't seem to hinder her movement in the slightest bit but instead enhanced each of her gesture. A great crescent blade (Yue-Dao) hanging on her back, which she carry with ease as if it is didn't have any weight at all.

The other one have a beautiful face and her movements are brimming with elegance and dignity. Her long silvery white hair draped on her back is like a shimmering flow of art. The bluish white shrine maiden outfit she wears is complemented with a long skirt in azure color. She carried a long sword in its scabbard which is hanging on her waist. Her eyes colored like a clear blue sky are sharp and her posture has no opening, like she always ready to strike anytime a surprise attack came.
