Chapter 4: YG Here I Come

*Time skip 5 years*

It was 2005 and So-Young was now 11 years old. She was a year away from passing high school. The whole schooling process was really bothersome for her. Pretending to be young when you were almost a decade older than all the students was really hard. She could finally get over with it and complete college too.

She was going to audition in YG Entertainment. It is very hard to get in but she was confidant in her abilities. She had not practiced her whole life for nothing. Although many people had talent for dancing and singing, reality was harsh. You needed the looks to be an idol. Luckily, she did not look too bad herself.

With two extremely attractive humans as her parents, So-Young was bound to be good looking. She was 165cm tall and was still growing. she was working out everyday as her taekwondo teacher told her to. This led to her having an athletic body. She looked like the living image of a girl crush and was bound to be popular based on her looks alone. She was not a fragile looking like some female idols that would come up in the future, but looked like the embodiment of energy. Looking at her made people want to become like her. She looked like a good role model figure and would make people inspired in the future, but that is a story for another day.

The trees were rustling due to the warm breeze and the sky was looking like the vast expanse of the ocean. So-Young was on the way to YG entertainment with her mother. As expected, it took her almost 3 years to convince her parents to let her join YG. They did not mind her doing anything as her occupation, but they did not want her to suffer. Only after pouring her heart out to them and telling them the reason why she wanted to become an idol did they finally allow her to pursue her dreams.

Yes, the cat was out of the bag. Her parents came to know about her past life. She became really emotional while convincing her parents and it just burst out of her. They were shocked for a while but realised that she would still be their little princess. She was filled with joy and it felt as if a burden was lifted off her shoulders. She then told them the whole story of her past, and after a whole dose of tears and snot, the three of them became closer than ever.

They now did not baby her and gave her more freedom which she was grateful for. She was happy they did not think she had a mental illness of some sort. When she asked her father, " Papa, when I told you about my past, why didn't you think I had become crazy?" Her father said with a laugh. " It explained your intelligence. It was kind of freaky the way you were extremely mature for your age and could be so brilliant. It was more normal for you to be reborn than for a child to be that amazing. It was abnormal ."

While she was reminiscing about that the her mother flicked her forehead. So-Young grabbed her forehead with a frown " what are you dreaming about? I have been calling you for a while now. And stop frowning. You are going to get wrinkles. Look, we have reached our destination"

So-Young looked up at the big building in wonder. 'I have finally come here. This is where my new life begins.' She gave a big grin to her mother and took her hand. "Mom, thank you so much for supporting me so much. " Her mother looked at her with her eyes tearing up, "Silly child. Don't start thanking me now. I'll only listen to your thanks once you become an idol and take the world by storm!" they both hugged tightly and So-Young bid her mother goodbye.
