"What happened?" Kenzo said asking Yara. They were at the living room. Dream was in her room sleeping because she didn't have enough sleep last night. Emma go to their grocery/eatery because one of the staff called her for the supplies are already short.
Yara sighed deeply. "Big sister got pregnant. She didn't want you to know because you're relationship became unsteady and she said it was all her fault and she didn't want you to suffer with her. We left the house and spent her nine months pregnancy in the province. During her early pregnancy, the doctor said that her body is weak so we should take care of her so as not to have early abortion." Yara said continuously. Kenzo was listening intently.
"Then her nine month came. We had to stay at the hospital for her and the baby's close monitoring. I had to stop my studies to accompany her at the hospital. Mom was working hard to support us." Yara said and her eyes started to well up again. Kenzo wanted to comfort her but stopped himself.
"Then her delivery came. The doctor told us that we had to choose between her and Dream. We can't choose." Yara started sobbing. Kenzo's heart ached. "Without us knowing, Big sister told the doctor to save her baby.
"We didn't tell Dream who was her real mother at first. When I knew that she would understand the situation, little by little, I told her everything about her mom." Yara said in between her sobs.
"And I wasn't included, right?" Kenzo said. "I'm sorry." Yara said. Kenzo smiled. "It's ok. It's not yet too late." Kenzo said.
"I want her to meet my parents and my sister. Will you allow her to come along?" Kenzo said looking at Yara. "It's not my decision anymore. You should ask your daughter." Yara said. "Oh, I'll ask her later." Kenzo said. "I think she will ask you to go with her." Kenzo said. "Let's wait for her and let see what she will do." Yara said.
"What are her likes and dislikes? Her hobbies? Her favourites?" Kenzo asked continuously and Yara smiled. Kenzo scratched his head. "Sorry, I don't know how to become a good father for her but don't worry, I will try my very best." Kenzo said and Yara smiled again. "Dont smile, don't smile." Kenzo said to himself.
Being a father makes him nervous but seeing Yara's smile make him more nervous.
"Dream is just a simple kid. We didn't spoiled her. We taught her about the importance of what is a need and what is a want. Her hobbies? Hmmm...she likes to read and draw. Her favourite? My cathedral." Yara said. "That's my favourite too." Kenzo wanted to say. "And lastly, she wants to talk, talk, and talk." Yara said smiling. Kenzo was in dazed.
"Dad! You're drooling." Dream said smiling and then walked towards them and sat in the middle. Kenzo was caught in the act by her daughter and he blushed. "Dad, you're blushing." Dream said smiling. "Dream!" Yara said scolding her niece. "Sorry." Dream said.
"Do you want to meet your grandparents and of course, your auntie/bestie?" Kenzo said. Dream looked at Yara asking her approval. "It's your decision, sweety. I will respect and support you whatever it is." Yara said. Dream looked at her dad and nodded excitedly. "Good, you can change now and will go at our house." Kenzo said. "Mom, can you go with me?" Dream said. "I think it's better if I will stay here. You should have more time with them." Yara said. "Mommy, please..." Dream said. "Dad, asked her to come please." Dream continued and looked at her dad.
"I think you should come. My mom will be happy to see you again. Dad only came back yesterday from abroad. He wanted to meet you because Sky told stories about you." Kenzo said. Dream looked at her mom with pleading eyes. "Ok, ok." Yara said and Dream hugged her. "Thank you,mommy!" Dream said happily.
Before leaving the house, Yara called her mom to inform her about the meeting the grandparents thing and Emma had nothing against it.
They had lunch first then they fetch Sky from school. As expected, Sky was surprised seeing the three of them together.
"Why didn't you attend our classes? Are you sick? What happened to you? And why are you together?" Oh, Big brother, where are you last night?" Sky continuously said that made the three of them laughed.
"One at a time, ok?" Dream said then suddenly embraced Sky. "Auntie! You're my auntie!" Dream said smiling. "What do you mean auntie?" Sky said raising her brows.
"Little sister, meet my daughter." Kenzo said that made Sky's eyes and mouth opened widely. "Wwwhhhaaattt!?" Sky shouted.
Dream told Sky everything while on their way home. They are both crying and then they will laugh all of a sudden. Kenzo and Yara were only listening. Yara was happy seeing that Dream had a friend like Sky whom she can rely on in times like this. How she missed her big sister seeing the two ladies.
They reached the house,Kenzo and Sky went out of the car. Yara and Dream were still inside and are hesitating to go out. "Sweety, you go out." Yara said. "No, you go out first, mom." Dream said. Kenzo and Sky were smiling and nodded to each other.
"Come on, get out." Sky said pulling Dream. "Wait, wait. Do you think they will like me? Do you think they will accept me as their granddaughter?" Dream said continuously and Sky laughed. "Don't laugh! I'm really scared." Dream said. "Don't worry, I'm pretty sure that they will like you and even love to know that you're their granddaughter." Sky said.
Kenzo opened the front door. "Hey, I thought you'll support her all the way through." He said. "Yeah, but, do I really need to be there. I mean, Dream is the granddaughter and I don't want to ruin the mood." Yara said still sitting at the passenger seat. Kenzo's face became serious.
"Get out or do you want me to carry you the newly wed style?" Kenzo said. Sky and Dream looked at each other and smiled. Yara immediately went out the car. Kenzo smirked. "Good girl." He said.
"Mom! Dad! We have visitors." Sky said calling her parents. Both Olivia and Lucas went out from the study room. When Olivia saw Yara and Dream, she smiled and gave them a tight hug.
"Dear, this is Yara and her daughter, Dream." Olivia said. "Hello, beautiful ladies. I heard a lot of things about you." Lucas said. "Dad, Mom, can we talk?" Kenzo said seriously. Olivia and Lucas furrowed their foreheads. "Sky, bring them to your room first." Kenzo said and Sky nodded.
"Don't worry, everything will be ok, right, Pretty sister?" Sky said when she saw that Dream is not at ease. Yara nodded but she was feeling nervous too.
Kenzo told his parents everything. From the time he saw Yara, met Yvette, had a feeling for Yara but had a relationship with Yvette, even the aphrodisiac drug given to him. His parents had different emotions on their faces but the happiness became evident, knowing Dream's existence.
