After finishing their talk, Yun Che and Cang Yue left the phoenix village the next day.
The distance between the phoenix village and the capital city was quite large, but Yun Che could have easily covered it by flying.
But he refrained from using techniques that were above his level.
He didn't want to get the attention of people so soon.
Since Cang Yue was familiar with her, both of them mounted on it as it flew in the direction of the capital city.
Of course, it was impossible for it to reach the capital city on one go. As such, they had to take a break in between by staying within different towns along the way.
During their journey to the capital city, one thing caught Yun Che's attention; there was not a single inn with two empty bedrooms!
No matter which city they stayed or which inn they checked, all of them had only one single room!
This made Yun Che realize that he really had taken the body of the protagonist. And with the body came the protagonist halo. In simple terms, the world bent itself to make sure the protagonist gets the best benefits!
With all that fate-chan and timeline bullshit, Yun Che didn't even have energy to deny such an assumption. Also, not that he hated it. In fact, he enjoyed and loved it! If he could, he could give a thumbs up to the world for allowing such a thing.
And as one would guess, with only one room available, they could only share it.
As such, sleeping together in a single bed became a norm for them during the journey. And despite both of them sleeping on extreme corners of the bed, Yun Che would always wake up with Cang Yue hugging him in the morning.
Yun Che never felt so blessed and he realized his love for big breasts once more. After being teased by those massive melons of Cang Yue through the journey, Yun Che was starting to wonder if he should visit the red light district or not.
It was painful!
Eitherways, on the eleventh day of their journey, they finally reached the capital city of the Blue Wind Empire!
"Finally!" Yun Che shouted with happiness. "A man can only tolerate so much!"
People turned their heads and looked towards Yun Che with weird gazes while Cang Yue blushed slightly. She somehow could understand what Yun Che meant.
{Disgusting! This princess cannot believe you had such a weak mindset!} Jasmine, who had to bear Yun Che's complaint throughout the whole journey, had dark bags under her eyes. She was on the verge of commiting suicide by killing Yun Che.
{Do not hate what you cannot have. My dear master, your disciple will always support you!}

'Last one was uncalled for…'
"Ahem. Brother Yun. Let's go. We will go to Profound Palace right away! The entrance exam shouldn't have started yet!"
Cang Yue said, making Yun Che nod and follow after her.
Soon, both of them appeared within the Blue Wind Profound Palace.
Compared to its branch in New Moon City, the difference between the both was like heaven and earth.
"Miss, you have finally returned!" Suddenly, a man's voice came, attracting both of their attention. Both of them looked from where the voice came and saw a middle-aged man walking towards them with a nervous face. "You have vanished without saying anything. You have no idea how worried I was, Miss!"
"Elder Wuyou." Cang Yue bowed and greeted the man. A wryly smile appeared over her face as she sheepishly said. "Due to the urgency of the situation, I couldn't inform you. Please forgive me."
Seeing her like this, Wuyou sighed and shook his head.
"It doesn't matter. Since you have come back alive, it's alright."
Just then, Wuyou's gaze landed on Yun Che. This caused him to be surprised. He had never seen Cang Yue hanging out with an unknown man alone. He wondered what their relationship was.
"Miss, this little brother is…"
Cang Yue also caught Wuyou's gaze and hurriedly introduced Yun Che.
"This is Brother Yun Che. He will be joining Profound Palace today."
A glint passed through Wuyou's eyes. He knew the reason why Cang Yue had left the palace, so he understood the meaning of her words right away.
A smile appeared over his face as he looked towards Yun Che.
"Then you arrive at a perfect time, little brother. Blue Wind Profound Palace's Entrance Exam is about to happen soon. A little late and you might have missed it."
"Brother-in-law? Is that you, brother-in-law?!" The sudden excited voice of a young man promoted everyone to look towards the giant that was running towards them with an excited expression. "It really is you, brother-in-law!"
'Huh? Why is he here? Since I never joined the palace in New Moon City, they shouldn't know about my relationship with Yuanba. As such, they shouldn't have any reason to bring an Elementary Profound Realm kid to Blue Wind Profound Palace. Don't tell me it's another one of fate's shenanigans?'
"Brother-in-law?" Cang Yue suddenly felt that it was hard to breathe. She looked towards Yun Che with disbelief as if asking him to deny what Yuanba had said.
She placed her hand over her chest not understanding her own feelings. She hurriedly bit her lips to control her emotions and made sure to not show anything on her face.
'Why didn't he tell me about it?' She questioned herself. She knew it was a stupid question, yet she wanted to ask Yun Che about it.
On the other hand, Wuyou was also surprised. He had brought Yuanba with him on the insistence of the Great Elder of New Moon Profound Palace. He heard that Gread Elder and the father of Yuanba had a great relationship. And so, the Great Elder wanted him to bring Yuanba to Blue Wind Profound Palace with him.
He was astonished to find out that Yuanba and Yun Che had a relationship.
'That's great! Who knew the person chosen by the Princess would be the relative of Yuanba. With this, he should have more good faith towards the imperial family now.'
Wuyou looked towards Cang Yue and suddenly a frown appeared over his face.
'Why does the princess look in pain?' Suddenly, he looked towards Yuanba and the way he called Yun Che, an idea appeared within his mind. 'No way…'
He couldn't help but shake his head at the bad luck of the princess.
"Brother-in-law! Yuanba missed you!" Opening his arms, Yuanba gave Yun Che a hug, causing Yun Che to groan. With a slight struggle, he finally pushed Yuanba away from him and took a deep breath.
He felt he almost died!
