Chapter 4: cHAPTER tHREE: Somatic Metal

I watched the baby slash the bitch's face, she deserved it alright. Unfortunately, like her, I experienced the cruelty of a sadistic self, trap inside the body of a midget that looks so innocent. She impaled me to the wall using her protuding fingers that extended out of her flesh into metal stakes. I survived and healed, but the feeling that went through my body when she pierced me, the surge of a power attempting to break my insides. Only when the old crone of our house, came, was the child silenced to sleep and I was spared. I was never close to death, until this child showed me what its like to be closer to the end.
