Chapter 36: 36. Kidnapped

Esther sat beside Rory as she ate her oatmeal and omelette.

"Would you like a cup of coffee?" Esther asked.

"I'm more of a tea person. But if there's no tea, coffee would be fine. I just want it with honey and cream."

"You have a sweet tooth." Esther teased and Rory chuckled.

"Well, that's true. I love sweets." She smiled.

Esther got up. "I'll get your coffee. When I go grocery shopping I'll buy some tea bags for you." She smiled

"Thank you so much, Esther." Rory smiled back and watched her as she went away.

Some few minutes later she heard some footsteps.

"Wow! That was quic..." She swallowed the rest of her words when she saw who it was. The guy from before. Esther's boyfriend. Oh no! She quickly rose to her feet and looked down nervously.

"Oh, please sit." The guy chuckled. "I'm an ordinary person. I'm no boss here."

Rory looked at him through her think lashes and slowly lowered herself back on her seat.
