Chapter 24: Lord of Calamity
Grinning Guy stretched his arms and jumped up and down a bit and launched forward, in an instant he had surpassed the speed of light fully intent on blowing at least one of that thing's arms but much to his surprise it turned around at the last moment and punched him in the chest. Guy coughed out blood from the hand lodged in his chest, "Ho? You've got bite." he smirked and jumped back as the place he was in was cleaved in two by the red lance that thing was holding, such wounds were trivial and as longa s his soul wasn't destroyed he could come back infinitely. However, that lance made even him shiver when he gazed at it, if only he knew that the lance was the True Longinus, a weapon that equals or surpasses the completely unsealed Rhongomyniad in terms of power.
Velzard's face twisted in rage as she turned into a gigantic dragon, first this thing dared to attack her sister and then it dared to attack even Guy, it would pay! "You bastard! You'll pay! You'll pay!" she shouted and she would make sure of it. She breathed out frost which didn't even faze it and it was almost as if it sneered at that attempt mocking it. It raised the lance and thrust forward towards Velgrynd, "OH SHIT!" Guy shouted and grabbed Velgrynd before jumping away alongside her, she was Veldanava's sister, he owed her at least that much. A white beam passed the area they were in leaving a deep ravine that stretched for as long as the eye could see extending to the Great Forest of Jura.
Galahad didn't or rather couldn't use the Longinus and it lay dormant because it technically required him to die to bring it out but the Transcendent Form was a reveal of his true form and it was capable of drawing out the weapon through pure power. Guy whistled seeing the damage, "Well that's some damage alright." he said lightly chuckling. Guy's eyes turned sharp this battle was dangerous he would no longer hold back or underestimate him, he was prideful and he wasn't keen on having that pride pummeled into the ground. His aura exploded outwards, the oldest Demon Lord in existence would give his all!
With Rudra,
Rudra sat straight and looked in a certain direction, the source of the aura, "That's certainly strong." whatever it was it's aura was overwhelming even here, he glanced at the agitated Velgrynd standing beside him and then the soldiers around him, gathered to protect him. "I am not weak you know." he was the oldest True Hero! Velgrynd stomped her foot, "What upsets you?" he asked her. She looked at him, "Nothing!" she would never admit she was losing, badly it definitely wasn't that. Rudra chuckled at her antics, "I shall grant you permission, Go if you must." he said shrugging.
Velgrynd gave him a grateful look and clenched her fist, "I'll definitely win this!" she said determined. Rudra's eyes turned a bit sharp, "However if I learn you instigated this then I don't need to tell you do I?" he said smiling, that smile however made Velgrynd sweat nervously, he would ground her and forbid her from meeting him, she couldn't bear that! "G-Got it!" she said dissipating, if all other parallel Velgrynds were removed then the body there would now have her full power if she killed him no one would know right? Oh there was that kingdom....Then she would remove them too.
BACK AT THE BATTLE,
Guy sent barrage upon barrage of punches and kicks even throwing in the eventual magics, he laughed dryly that was his full power and all it did was make him flinch a bit, then the come the counters, he looked at the land around him which was now filled with ravines whose bottom couldn't be seen. The world won't be recovering from that, he shook his head and sighed all he could do was hold it here and seal it if he had the chance.
Velzard roared and charged straight at it aiming to bite it in half, Guy tried to stop her, "Stop! You idiot!" but his words fell on deaf ears. Galahad raised his hand and simply grabbed her, that action stopped the charging True Dragon in place, it raised the spear and brought it down cutting off one of the dragon's wings causing her to scream out in pain, she used every single skill possible to stuck him in place and it appeared as if it had no effect but it slowed him down by quite a bit allowing her to escape. Velgrynd used this opportunity to release a single thin beam of concentrated light, a super high-speed Breath Attack which hit him straight on, that Velgrynd was trashed because it had only 10% of the power, this was the True Dragon Velgrynd in all her glory.
The attack burnt Galahad's arm but it regenerated in an instant, but Guy had already noticed that his speed was slower, he stopped time itself, "There!" he shouted using his full speed even in a realm where time was stopped punching him straight in the face causing the monstrosity to stumble to the side but not willing to take it like that it grabbed Guy and threw it at Velzard causing them both to crash into the ground. Their battle had distorted the land and it was no longer even recognizable.
Velgrynd smirked seeing that they had slightly pushed it back and immediately breathed out flames in rapid succession forming multiple columns of flames reaching from the heavens to the earth. The Flame Cage! It would burn everything caught in it to ash not even waiting a single moment she immediately closed it, as the walls closed the monstrosity braced itself for the incoming attack as it instinctually recognized the attack as dangerous, but it was for naught as the walls burnt it's body making it roar from the pain. Velzard didn't wait for it to recover, "Suspended World!" she had literally frozen the concept of time but it perceived the change and so it was useless she used her frost breath but it was only cut in half by the Longinus.
Guy chuckled and stood up, "I didn't want to use this but." his aura increased further and further as his appearance turned wilder. He was using Wrath King Satanael, the ultimate skill copied from Milim but at 90% output since he needed his senses, he launched at Galahad at his current speed light speed was an ant, but that thing could respond it as previously seen but it was under the effects of Velzard's ultimate skill and was slowed down quite a bit so it couldn't react in time and millions of punches hit it causing it to stumble backwards, it punched out but Guy dodged it and punched it's face, "Napalm Burst!" a dragon of fire formed from his fist enveloping Galahad alas it was ineffective.
Galahad punched at Guy but as if waiting for an opportunity Milim who was already aware of the danger he posed and had transformed into her combat form punched the fist away, she looked at Guy, "You notice it too right?" she asked seriously, from her observations this thing was, "Yeah it's faltering and clearly holding back." Guy said rubbing his head. Milim shook her head, "It's not holding back, it's being held back." Guy's eyes slightly widened, "You mean." She nodded in response, "Yes, he's trying to wrestle back control." Guy laughed and banged on the ground, "Knew that bastard had it in him." he said standing up again, "The problem is by the time that happens, one of us will be dead." he said in thought while looking at Velgrynd who's eyes were wide from disbelief at the fact that one of her legs had been cut off by a single swing. She could regenerate them but still.
"We'll seal him like I initially planned with you dead pet." Guy said reminding her, Milim's face showed no change however and both of them charged at Galahad simultaneously punching him and taking attacks, thing is their attacks would make him flinch and stumble but his attacks would make them cough out blood and this was him holding back! Vert and Bleu could only silently stare on at their Master being attacked ruthlessly by two True Demon Lords and two True Dragons, while it made them proud he was holding his own against such a force they were barely stopping themselves from attacking them. Ramiris buzzed around worriedly, "That guy is strong but what's going to happen now?!" she asked herself, of course the one to cast the sealing magic would be her but she didn't want to! She sighed and shook her head all she could say was that it was for his own good.
Hours passed as the battle went on and on, the sounds of battle going across several kingdoms and nations informing many of the battle, by now all races were aware of the battle that was going on and they could only hope it didn't get dragged to their places if the auras were anything to go about then the destruction would even trump the one from the previous incident with the Demon Lords, that would have already happened but since Ramiris had nothing else to do this time she was maintaining a barrier that limited the damage to as small an area as possible. There were even some observers from the edge of the great Forest of Jura but all of them were non human this was because no human could withstand the auras.
Two of the most prominent observers were the Elves and the Vampires, a certain noble vampire girl with heterochromatic eyes looked at it in great curiosity with stars in her eyes from far off, this was very amusing and amazing to see for her. Another younger elf girl which was likely royalty was also watching with shining eyes the amazing thing was that they were able to actually see it with the help of intrinsic skills and magic. This was the event which would be remembered for all time, the birth of the Lord of Calamity.
Galahad was about to pierce Milim's chest with the Longinus but all of a sudden he froze in place, "Hah! Suck on that evil me!" a distorted but familiar voice came out, Guy seized the opportunity and shouted, "Now Seal him!!" this was their opportunity! Milim nodded and Ramiris teleported near them, even though the True Dragons tried to disagree, their words were ignored and the three through the use of a combined spell sealed Galahad whose monstrous form was for some reason getting smaller and smaller. "Oh Guy you son of a-" but his words were left unfinished as he completely disappeared into a strange object. Guy smirked, "Serves ya right!" and laughed before releasing a relieved sigh and falling over, even if the others didn't he noticed that the bastard was back in control but this was payback.
Ramiris poked him causing him to flinch from pain, that battle reminded him of his weakness, "Hey hey wasn't he?" she asked Guy, because she was pretty sure she heard something. "Just your imagination!" but she still insisted, "But-!"
"Just your imagination!" Guy denied it and looked over at the exhausted Milim whose injuries had begun healing, his gaze then fell on Velzard who had a large cut across her back which was being healed by a badly injured Velgrynd, hell she was missing a damn leg! Vert and Bleu curiously stared at the strange object which was supposed to hold their Master. Bleu picked it up and was about to break it but Ramiris stopped her, "That's just a gateway, We used space magic to seal him in a different space." she said sighing at what she had done.
"Well he could still brute force his way out." Milim said while nodding to herself and decided that she had to get stronger. "Wait won't that place be extremely comfortable?" Guy asked curiously receiving nods it was basically empty what could be more comfortable. Both the maids paled what if he never came out?! Thankfully his goals had changed or that may as well have happened.
