Chapter 8: Chapter 7 Flower Designs
I did as I was told. I removed my shirt and laid down on a reclined chair. The room smelled of a dark forest with a hint of jasmine. He walked behind me while smoking a pipe; delicate trails of smoke flitted around the room. They looked like animals playing in the forest. Then I heard a knife cutting , I felt pain on my ribs. I looked up and just I was about to scream he shoved a piece of wood between my teeth. He told me to bite down when it hurt.
" This is what everyone has to go through when they come here." He paused " It's similar to a trial. when the blades with color slice your skin it will leave the color. Also my name is Ren." He looked me in the eyes while talking to me. His eyes were a deep purple. He continued working on me. It hurt so bad and I had to be restrained. My body kept pulling on them. It hurts, it hurts so much. Eliza please make him stop please dear sister.
Two hours later while I was still barely conscious, he said he was done. Ren helped me up. I looked in the mirror; I was astonished by what I saw. Flowers were across my left side of my stomach and curved around my heart in a moon and ivy shape. The flowers were dark crimson with flecks orange and purples. Vines and thorns were placed among them. It was beautiful and elaborate. He gave me an ointment to put on it every so often.
Then he escorted me out; a girl about 12 lead me out and into a small room with a bed and bathroom. There was a schedule and map left out for me. I was told to memorize it in the next two days because after that I would no longer have them. In the room was a small dresser with basic black pants, underwear, socks and shirts. A pair of black boots were beside it. I didn't understand why everything was black.
