Chapter 5: Trial of the Eternal Flame
Adam is resting for the first time since he arrived here.
Many would have gone crazy. Image rushing into a burning oven to burn and smell your skin as you try to obtain benefits. And then image seeing your bones being overgrown by new skin as you reach the safe zone time and time again.
But he did it. Adam was laying on the ground, knowing there that there will be no harm in the safe zone. He was satisfied with his recent gains in the last 4 days as he knew of the importance of the tempering in the Tutorial. The Tutorial gave every equal opportunity to change their fate and those who took it in their hands are known as rankers. Those individuals are leading the charge against the tower.
Adam just took just a small step towards those as almost every person on the frontier had to have at least one elemental inheritance to go beyond stage 30. There is fire, earth, water and air. You had to have at least one element to unlock the corresponding cultivation system as the challenges would become too straining for the human body without it.
As he stops thinking about his future paths, he takes a look at his gains during his small interval as he needs to prepare for what is about to come.

Newly learned skills are Unnamed then Novice, Basic, Advanced, Mastered. Skills that are fundamentally changing their name are going through a qualitative change.

I would love to hear your thoughts and suggestions about how this novel is turning out to be
I have thought about a power/cultivation system. The four elements all contain one inheritance, which allows the user to cultivate chi, mana, soul, aura respectively. Having at least one will be a must for a ranker. Unlocking all will maybe be special (Having them influence each other). What should it unlock?
Also do you have any suggestions for new skills?
