A young man with spiky black hair was standing in front of the Hapjeong Station with a jade-coloured key in his left hand. He was lost in his thoughts and stared in front of him, though there was nothing but the entrance of the station. He lifted his left hand in front of him and turned the key as if he had entered it in a lock.
Immediately after bright bluish sparks started to form in front of him and the entrance rapidly turned into a spatial rift. The rift glowed with a bright blue light, but bizarrely no one seemed to see it other than the man. He entered the rift with a sinister smile and immediately after two longswords appeared in his hands. He dashed down the stairs that lead to the first floor of the subway while gripping his swords.
As soon as he stepped on the first floor, he couldn't help but noticed that the interior of the dungeon was the same as the station, but in a ruin state. Still this wasn't enough to cause him to lose focus, as his senses were alerting him of an imminent danger. Hence, he raised his longswords, sidestepped to his left and swinged his right hand with all his strength. He could felt the sword in his right hand slicing through something hard.
[Baam... ]
The sound of something falling on the ground could be heard clearly and Jin Tae-kyung turned his head to his right side. There was the body of a big beast-type monster lying on the ground beside him with the upper part of its head missing.

Two windows popped up in his field of view as soon as he saw the dead monster. As soon as he closed the windows, a pack of about a dozen of those monsters appeared in front of him. Those monsters were huge wolves with red furs, and fangs and maws made of steel. The monsters were around one and a half meter in height, and three meters in length.
" STEEL-FANGED LYCANS.. Hmmmm!... They are no different from wolves... The system even shows me their names which is written above their heads... The fact that the letters are in red, is to emphasize that they are stronger than me... For now at least... Also my speed and perception is superior to them, else I would be dead meats by now, after that sneak attack."
Tae-Kyung dashed towards the lycans without wasting any time and the lyans did the same. The lycan that was at the front, pounced at him with all its strength and in response, Tae-Kyung sidestepped to his right and sliced the beast's neck cleanly with the sword in his left hand. He was immediately under the attack of another lycan from his right, which he bisected by performing a vertical slash using his other sword.

Thanks to the boost in his stats that he obtained due to leveling up, he took the initiative and pierced the skull of lycan. Without letting go of his momentum, he slashed the side of another lycan with his other sword. After a couple of seconds, Tae-Kyung had decimated the pack of lycans and had leveled up two more times. He was not unharmed as he had cuts all over his body, and his long-sleeved t-shirt and pants were torn almost everywhere.
