Chapter 15: Fight the Dragon 2
The five Hunters suddenly grew in size and their body became covered with hard armour.
They were using Spiritual Manifestation to fight against the Dragon.
Byeol looked towards the five in suspicion because the moment they used Spiritual Manifestation, their aura seemed to change and turn more powerful. But realising that all their goals are the same, he ignored it for now.
"Capture" Thomas muttered as a black orb formed in his hand which pulled everything inwards. The dragon also was pulled forward. But instead of stopping itself it instead increased its speed by flying towards Thomas, but Christopher jumped on top of the dragon and placed his hands over its eyes. Large blasts of flames were released from his hands which easily boiled the dragon's eyes within its skull. The eyeballs exploded and the dragon started thrashing around in pain.
Christopher fell off of the dragon's back and landed on the ground. Liu Zhigang appeared in front of its head and slashed diagonally, making a deep gash on its face.
Jonas thrusted his spear towards its wings, puncturing them with large holes, making the dragon unable to fly anymore.
The dragon tried to turn around and attack where he felt the Hunters were as it was currently blind but suddenly felt a searing pain on its underbelly. Byeol was flying under the dragon while cutting the dragon through the middle of its belly.
It's innards exploded out. But instead of screaming or roaring, it instead maintained a calm look. It muttered, "The Rulers have already arrived? Then why are we delaying our descent to this world?"
Saying this the dragon flew backwards and landed a few hundred metres away from them. It then gave out a loud roar. A four that shook the souls of every single organism that heard it. The six Hunters would have attacked him right now if it was not for the fact that all of them were rooted in their place in fear.
The quality of mana being released from the dragon changed. The muscles on its neck were torn open as harder and stronger scales grew from them. The wings regenerated and started growing bigger. It blotted out the entire sky of the neighbourhood. It pointed its head upwards as its neck started glowing with a bright red light.
The light moved towards the mouth of the dragon and stayed there for a few seconds before it opened its mouth.
A small orb, the size of a football came out of the mouth. The orb slowly floated downwards. But the six realised that the orb shouldn't be underestimated as they all started running backwards frantically. The moment the orb touched the ground, everything went white for a second.
When the light disappeared, the only thing remaining was a huge crater that almost completely covered the area of San Francisco. In the middle of the crater was the Red Dragon and a few kilometres away was the burnt bodies of the six Hunters.
They were charred black and didn't move an inch, as if they were mummified on spot. Suddenly the bodies started cracking as they made some small movements.
The first one to break through the black covering was Byeol whose entire skin was absent with much of his flesh crumbling away. His body regenerated back the lost and damaged parts as he looked backwards and saw that his wings were able to protect the five other Hunters.
They also broke through and looked around. Siddharth and Jonas had horrified looks on their faces as the only thing remaining of the once great city of San Francisco was the huge crater under them.
They all looked towards the monster that was responsible for all of this.
They prepared themselves to fight it again when they heard the sound of something opening up. They looked behind themselves and saw dozens of red coloured gates forming around them and spewing out hundreds of dragons, though smaller than the ones released from the S-Rank Gate, the number was ten times more.
The dragons surrounded them as they landed on the ridge of the crater and looked down.
This time the six jumped back towards the edge of the crater and decided to prepare themselves.
They were badly wounded, exhausted and mana deprived but they all still used Spiritual Manifestation.
They were prepared for Round 2.

AN: Sorry, went to have the x-ray of my head taken yesterday, so I couldn't post a chapter.
Well, now I will be having a root canal.
Fuck.
Anyway,
Short one. The Kamish Arc will finish in about 1 to 2 more chapters.
