I wear my thoughts
on my feet
and let them run
jump and slide
and behind
their shield, I hide
Away from shore
with the thoughts I wore
dodging the chase
entangled and dazed
its' not that I don't think
its' so that I can't
with my own desire
blink or even wink
I am ruled
distraught
in a cycle
I have been caught
I am aware
but can't dare
to break free
from this cage
I have lost the struggle
exhausted in me
and leave it on my feet
to do as they please
