Chapter 33: Chapter 32: Is This the End?

Meanwhile, Mike brought Sophia to the Sunshine Forest. It's in the midland, far away from the Moon Band pack area. They needed two days' travel to get to the forest. When they arrived, the sunshine glowed as if it greeted them.

The forest is called Sunshine Forest because it was an anomaly. Though the area has four seasons, and it was autumn, Sunshine Forest always has the sun all year long. It was said a fairy guarded the forest. That was why it always had sunshine. 

Sophia was asleep as she was exhausted from crying. Leaving the pack and her parents, seeing her father murdered, and now alone in the wilderness with her best friend's father was more than an eight-year-old pup could bear. 

"Momma, Daddy," Sophia called her mother and father in her sleep.
