Chapter 2: Chapter 1 - Encounter
One quiet night in a corner of the city of Yogyakarta, suddenly there was a loud noise.
The commotion arose from me, a young man named Arya Narendra Yaswanta in his 20s in a black and white office uniform, fighting with five mysterious people dressed in black robes.
On the roadside also lay a person in a white coat with a furry collar with armor under his coat.
There was a wound underneath his clothes because i could see blood seeping on his shirt, coming out of his waist area.
And meanwhile I was surrounded by five mysterious black robes.
2 in front of me, 1 behind and 2 others on the roof of the house.
Somehow they are so stubborn after me.
Then one of the people standing in front of me came forward to attack me while clenching a fist with a blue aura enveloping his fist.
My hunch realized that it might be very dangerous, better to dodge than to resist the attack I thought.
I immediately dodged sideways while deflecting the punch onto the asphalt road.
And sure enough, the road was immediately had a big hole with large cracks around it.
After that I used my knees to attack this man's solar plexus.
"Ugh!!!"
The cloaked attacker shouted with an expression of pain.
After that I grabbed the person's wrist and immediately circled his body in a circle with my right foot as a shaft and threw it against the wall, as a result the wall he hit was cracked by it.
Instantly the attacker fell down on the ground unconscious.
I feel relieved to have taken care of one person.
Unfortunately seeing the impact of that man's attack has worried me.
"What is the ability of these people? If I am exposed to even a little my body can be destroyed."
I murmured while looking at the remaining opponents around me in an alert position.
I understand not to be careless at this time because there are still 4 more people who seem to have the same ability.
"I don't know and don't know who you are, I don't care about you guys who can use this strange ability. What matters is why you guys attack me even though I don't know who you are ?!!"
I shouted loudly, with a little hope that I could find a solution out of this situation without risking my life.
"That's because you interfered in our own matters."
Answer one of the people standing in front of me.
"I'm only helping people lying on the streets and not bothering you."
The robed person in front pointed with his hand towards the man who was lying in the white coat I was talking about.
"Unfortunately that person has a problem with us and it will be troublesome if you help him. But we did not attack you just because of that. You have seen us and become eyewitnesses, who knows you will be a problem later."
The person then folded his arms in his chest to show his superiority.
"It's unfortunate that an ordinary person like you has to deal with our world, so blame your bad luck."
I changed my gaze to cold, it was to tell them that their threats did not shake me.
It seems like a way to get past this won't work out easily.
"Looks like I'm involved in something that's quite troublesome, but you all people are less fortunate to get involved with me."
The four of them looked giggled after hearing my words.
Soon one of them who was on the roof replied in my statement.
"Your martial arts skills are great but still won't be able to compensate for the control of soul energy, so don't be too confident boy."
"Hoo.... so it's called controlling soul energy."
I muttered to myself.
I did not reply to his words and just acted unconcerned.
Seeing my behavior, he looked even more annoyed.
"Huh... you will really regret your arrogant attitude."
Said the man standing in front of me right now.
I just looked at him coldly and stabbed.
They seemed even more annoyed by my reaction that was not as they hoped.
Immediately they released a collection of blue soul energy from their palms and shot towards me simultaneously.
And there was an explosion of soul energy in my place.
But I wasn't there because in the blink of an eye I was in front of the attacker in front of me.
" How could it be?"
The attacker said in front of me with a surprised face.
With the position still in the air I swing my right foot towards his head.
"Aarrgh."
He shouted in pain, he bounced to the left and landed hard enough with his head first.
3 other people were shocked and did not believe.
"Who's next? I don't have much time."
I put my right hand on my waist when I say it, to give the impression I was far above them.
"I told all of you before, all of you were unlucky to get involved with me."
With an annoyed face, someone behind me replied in.
"For ordinary people, you are amazing that you can defeat 2 people in the stage basic of soul level 2 alone."
They then took up positions preparing to attack together.
They now realize I'm quite dangerous for an ordinary person.
"We seem to underestimate you a lot. But your luck has run out, everybody let's attacking him together."
The three of them advanced to attack, I immediately took a position to hold them.
I also wondered to myself about what they said.
"The stage basic of soul level 2? Is that some kind of rank or title?"
I bend my knees with the stance of truss to get ready to avoid and make a counter.
My whole body shook, this really spurred my adrenaline.
Because I didn't know I could meet people who could corner me like this.
"Tch ... Whatever ... it will be hard to avoid and counter to these 3 mysterious people at once, but I have to try or it's over."
My mind was filled with doubt at the time.
When the three of them were close and almost reached me, unexpectedly a crescent-shaped spirit energy struck the three of them.
"AAARGHH !!!!"
And they were tossed tens meter down the road with screams of pain.
That attack left a trail of spirit energy in it path.
I was stunned for a while after seeing the attack.
I immediately woke up and saw the three people who had been blown away.
"Soul practitioners gang up on ordinary people? How embarrassing."
I was surprised because suddenly a girl's voice spoke in the midst of this chaos.
Without a doubt I immediately looked at the source of the voice that suddenly appeared.
From behind the shadow of the street lamppost a figure approached.
After coming out of the shadow appeared a girl with long straight dark purple hair down the shoulder blades.
Her eyes are the same color as her hair and have thin pink lips.
Really she was like a very enchanting sight in the midst of this chaos.
She also wore the same work clothes as the female employee in my office, a white shirt with a short black knee-length skirt and a black stocking that covered her thighs.
"Are you alright senior?"
While looking at me with a calm face, then she smiled at me.
Senior? then I gasped after realizing it turned out she was a new employee in my office this morning.
With eyes wide open while my mouth will open to ask all this curiosity.
I stopped my intention to ask because one of the black-robed men who had fallen down screamed in surprise.
"A stage basic of soul level 4 ?! This girl is dangerous."
I can only smile wryly, didn't they just say that they are a stage basic of soul level 2 and it means that this girl is 2 levels above them.
I tried to contemplate all the things that happened to me today.
The world is indeed cramped because I can meet her in unusual situations, with the new employee girl in my office whom I just met.
