Chapter 7: Picking the Immortal Herbs
A month had passed since Feng Qian and Feng Linlin began living together. The once-infantile Spirit Beasts had grown noticeably; Feng Qian, now resembling a juvenile deer, and Feng Linlin also grow bigger. Feng Qian was surprised by the rapid transformation of Spirit Beasts.
This astonishing growth rate, Feng Qian speculated, might have been spurred by their rigorous training routine and the environment. The daily playful games of chase between a tiger and a deer, and consuming the water from the Spiritual Spring Water lake may have unknowingly fueled their metabolism, accelerating their growth.
While training with Feng Linlin for a month, Feng Qian tried his best to keep Feng Linlin's behavior in check, because when practicing she would sometimes try to bite Feng Qian. So for Feng Qian's safety, Feng Qian would stop playing if Feng Linlin started biting him.
Although Feng Qian was wary of the cub's teeth. Luckily, the tiger's playful bites posed no severe threat yet, given that Feng Linlin's teeth had yet to fully develop. This fact brought a certain relief to Feng Qian for the time being.
Apart from their physical training, Feng Qian delved into research on the Immortal Herbs that were growing around the Spiritual Spring Water Lake.
Utilizing the heightened sensory abilities of a Spirit Beast, Feng Qian discerned varying degrees of spiritual energy density within each herb. Through a month of observation, he already categorized the herbs based on their spiritual energy density levels.
The herbs were divided into 5 levels of categories:
level 1 possessing a spiritual energy density equivalent to their current state of cultivation which is at Infant state of 10 Years worth of Cultivation-Age
Level 2 category, the density is slightly denser than level 1, which is probably at True state of 10 Years worth of True Cultivation-Age.
Meanwhile, starting from levels 3, 4, and 5, the density of Spiritual Energy is on another level.
So for now, Feng Qian categorized level 3 as 100-year-old Immortal Herbs, level 4 as 1,000-year-old Immortal Herbs, while level 5 as 10,000-year-old Immortal Herbs.
Feng Qian meticulously documented this categorization in his mind, aiming to ascertain the safety of consuming these herbs by segregating them based on their potency and potential effects.
And right now, armed with cautious optimism, Feng Qian carefully selected three seemingly safe level 1 Immortal Herbs for consumption, he carefully picked it after much deliberation and based on his instinct.

As the pain gradually subsided, Feng Qian noticed a newfound strength coursing through him, augmenting his physical abilities and fortifying his healing prowess. Overwhelmed by the result, Feng Qian immediately checked his status.
