Chapter 3: Urahara's Store

Two years ago.

Ichigo and Tatsuki stood in front of a building that bore the sign "Urahara's Store". None of them have ever been inside this building, however, they passed by it more than once during their walks.

"Are you sure we came to the right place?" Tatsuki asked skeptically. She only received the system from Ichigo a few minutes ago and her world turned upside down, now she believed in everything he told her earlier, but still doubted that there was someone in such a place who could teach them how to fight and master their future skills.

"Yes, I'm sure. The owner of this shop is the former Shinigami captain I told you about. Of course he is not the strongest of them all, but he is quite smart and certainly qualified enough to train us." - confidently confirmed Ichigo, he did not try to hide anything from Arisawa, because now they are connected forever.

"Okay. Let's say this is so, but why should he waste his time on us?" Tatsuki asked quite a logical question, since Ichigo in his story about Soul Society and Shinigami did not go into details related to his and now her future role in history.

Ichigo did not answer, wanting to keep a little intrigue, because the girl will understand everything herself when she hears the upcoming conversation between him and Urahara.

The guy took Tatsuki's hand and opened the shop door, making it clear that it was time for them to go inside. Tatsuki gave him a slightly disgruntled look, but did not release her hand from his weak grip, although she could well do it, entered the door, Ichigo followed immediately after her, only going to the counter he let go of the girl's hand. Ichigo knew the character of his newly-made girlfriend well and wanted to test her reaction with his actions.

He immediately realized that her frown was not connected with the fact that he took her hand, but with the fact that he did not answer her question. Thus combining business with pleasure, he was completely satisfied and his mood improved markedly. Maybe she wouldn't mind going straight to kissing, Ichigo thought and looked at the man in a hat and dark green clothes who was standing behind the counter.

Before speaking, Ichigo looked around the shop. He was not very big, but not small either. It was immediately noticeable that only a third of the building was occupied by the store itself, and the remaining two-thirds were auxiliary and probably living quarters. The assortment of the store was rather strange and did not attract his attention. Ichigo knew that this was due to the fact that this shop was mainly for Shinigami, and everything else was just a diversion.

"Welcome to Urahara's shop. What do you want?" Said the owner, who looked twenty-five years old with rather long white hair (blond) for a man, which was mostly hidden by his hat, with a good-natured smile.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Urahara." Ichigo said amiably. "I would like you to become our teacher and help master the Shinigami Academy curriculum." - he added and watched with gusto as the eternal smile of Urahara disappeared from his face.

"I'm afraid I don't understand what you're talking about. I'm just a regular salesperson." - Kiske answered again, returning his smile.

"How can a former captain of 12th Division be just a salesman?" Ichigo retorted his statement.

"Follow me, this is not the right place for that kind of conversation." Urahara said, discarding his ever-smiling and silly personality. Approaching the door of the store, he hung a sign "Closed" on it and locked the door. Closing the store, he went to the side, as suggested by Ichigo - living quarters, and was not mistaken. Following him, Ichigo and Tatsuki soon found themselves in a very spacious room in the middle of which there was a table.

Such rooms in Japan are intended for meetings, they usually drink juice or tea here.

"Tessai, make us some tea," Urahara said to a tall, muscular, slightly tanned man who appeared in front of them, whose black hair was braided at the back, he also had a large mustache and square glasses on his nose.

"Have a seat." - he added, looking at the young guy and the girl.

Ichigo and Tatsuki sat down together on one side of the table, Urahara sat across from them and studied them carefully for a while without saying a word. He was surprised not only that this young man knows what he should not know, but also that he was not in the least afraid of him and it was the same with the girl.

"May I know your name? As far as I can see both of you ordinary people, how do you know so much?" - finally spoke to Kiske.

"My name is Ichigo Kurosaki, I suppose you should be very familiar with my parents, Ishshin and Masaki, and this." He pointed at Tatsuki. "My friend Arisawa Tatsuki, you hardly know her."

"This explains a lot." - After a short pause, said Kisuke. "But since you know so much, you should know that you are not a Shinigami, but an ordinary person, like your girlfriend."

But as soon as Urahara had time to finish, the completely different Ichigo Kurosaki that he had seen a moment ago was already sitting in front of him. Now the guy was dressed in black kosode and hakami, he looked like an average Shinigami and not just, but instead of a physical body he had a spiritual body that had a reatsu, now he could be called a Shinigami without hesitation.

Tatsuki was a little late with her transformation, she had not yet managed to master the system, at the same level as Ichigo, but it took her only about five seconds for her to part with her clothes and her usual physical body.
