From the moment he recognized his existence and as far as he could mentally remember, Subject 01 was merely a lab rat.

For 16 years, he'd been surrounded by the monotonous white walls and masked men who dictated his every action, etching information into his mind.

He was trained, educated, and raised to become something or someone. However, at the end of every day, he was always left with one question.

"Will I be bound to the shackles of these grim white walls forever..?"

With that lingering question drifting in his mind, Subject 01 continued living life, expecting nothing out of it.
