Chapter 4: Chapter 4
When Akira looked at the Wolves he felt an attraction 'what's this i feel like there is something that i need in these wolves, well lets go out of here then see what they have' he thought as he went towards the place with the least wolves, as he was running the wolves surrounding him made a move, when he saw them jump like spring towards him, he had a weird feeling 'why do i feel like i know every movement in a 10 meter radius if i focus, great ability' he dodged and parried using the sniper the incoming claws without even looking at them and as he went through the wolves and as he was going to slip past the last one, he noticed that they stopped attacking him and were trembling as if they didn't dare to move, Akira saw a huge shadow going moving in the trees.
A semi-truck sized majestic silver Wolf appeared, 'its fast' Akira began to sweat as he saw how it moved through the trees "let's do this", after getting his nerves calmed down he took a stance and was ready to counter whatever was thrown at him.
He aimed and prepared to pull the trigger when he realized there was nothing in his scope,
but before even removing his eyes from the scope, he rolled to the right as fast as he could.
As he saw the place where he stood he saw that the Wolf just passed there, and went directly towards the trio who were already struggling, and shredded them in a second with his claws and picked a case up with its mouth.
Akira wasn't idling while the wolf was doing what it wanted, he opened a portal and went to the top of a tree and aimed his sniper, he took a deep breath and focused 'so maybe it senses danger before just as i aimed at it and willed to pull the trigger, i need to learn how to control my killing intent',
he then thought about something.
Just as the wolf brought it head up to howl there was a loud Bang, after that a huge thud, a huge sized Wolf was laying down with a hole in its temple, as the wolves heard the loud noise and saw their leader die they ran away with their tails between their legs.
"So that also works" Akira walked towards the body and as he moved closer he felt as if something was calling him.
*Before the demise of the leader wolf*
Akira took a deep breath and made a portal in front of his barrel, and he didn't focus on killing the wolf, but he willed for his bullet to go through a portal that goes from the front of the barrel to another one that is near the wolf's head,
(and voilà).
*looting time*
Akira looked at the head of the wolf and picked up a shiny bead that felt cold and looked at it "so this is where the attraction comes from, what should i do with it now?" Akira scratched his head and put it in the storage space, but as he did that he was shocked as he felt something off, curiously Akira looked at the cubic space and noticed that there was some strip like substance going out from the sphere to the storage walls, and he then felt a surge of power as he felt that he can make a 15 meters portal easily, but it would still consume his energy unlike the 10 meters one.
'So 10 meters is where i can do anything without energy consumption, let me call it absolute space', "so from what i saw on the TV they sell the spiritual animal's claws teeth and hide and stuff like that as ingredients" Akira sighed as he picked up the daggers that the two military personals had and dug out the claws, eyes and heart, it was a bloody process, but he had to do what he had to do.
As he was taking the teeth off he remembered the case that the wolf was biting, and he picked it up, he wanted to open it, but it was closed with a weird seal that was intelligible but visible.
"Well whatever, must be worth quite a bit if they had to seal it with this, and that the huge wolf wanted to take it" he said as shrugged and put it in his storage space together with the ingredients that were valuable in the wolf according to what Akira thought, and he noticed that the bead became smaller and that the cubic space increased from 2 by 2 meters to 4 by 4 and stopped there.
"i need more of these i feel like i would get some new ability when i make the cubic space 10 by 10" Akira said as he was feeling even more connected to the space element around him, as now he could feel even the air movement in his absolute space.
"As the storage space increased let's take some meat for meals, in the commercial they said that spiritual food is good for the body and has a great taste (it was a restaurant commercial)" He then picked up the meat and left for the central place in the city, "i should probably hide my face because too much attention will create a path to downfall", Akira never liked being in the spotlight, so he took a part of the military costume and rapped it around his face to hid his half his face.
He visited a cloth store and bought a couple t-shirts, hoodies and pants because the ones he is wearing now were bloodied plus he picked up a black cap to make it a bit more hard to recognize him.
In the way he bought a big bag used by hunters to keep their ingredients hidden and make them easier to pick up.
He searched on his phone and found that there was a library near a huge building called The Hunter association. (original name ik)
"so this is where they sell monster parts" he mumbled as he was walking and someone walked up to him, "are you a newbie?" a guy with flashy armor and an arrogant look said as he heard Akira mumbling.
Akira glanced at him and then ignored him and followed the GPS to the library.
The guy in the armor was embarrassed as his job was to show their new members that their team is one of the better ones.
He looked at Akira and thought 'better not see you again' then he glared at the members who were laughing.
As Akira was close to the library he hid the bag and changed his clothes using the storage space. (as long he is opening only 1 portal he can get inside the storage space, but it also uses energy).
He entered the library and showed the receptionist his ID card and went to the history section.
"Time to learn" Akira said as he opened the book about the world history.
