Chapter 75: Downfall
Rayath looked around her and watched as members of the Black Suns slowly surrounded
her, leaving her with no path of retreat. She could only smile. She knew her time was coming, although she couldn't complete her Master task, crippling the Black Sun would allow others some time to breath. Not to mention she has got some satisfying revenge on them destroying a few bases and killing quite a few of them. She takes another deep glance into the eyes of the nearest person. "In the end, Death goes to the victor."
Fueling the force through her body to the bottom of her feet. Rayath propels herself toward him and flips in the air in a somersault immediately slicing the guys head off. Landing back onto her feet and scans the faces around her. "So who's nest? Do you wanna make a line?" Some of the Black Suns shook in their boots and were momentarily stunned. Luckily someone in their ranks was either intelligent enough or brave enough to take control bringing them back to their senses.
"What are you guys doing! WE'RE THE BLACK SUNS. WE ARE FEARED. Don't let one tiny blind girl scare you!" Listening to the now Leader of the Black Sun's they all buckled down and began fighting together. "Rotate your shots! Aim for the limbs! Don't let her deflect your shots! Overwhelm her! Keep your distance!"
Rayath scorned she hoped to be able to kill at least a quarter of the enemies before they regrouped enough to fight back. She knew she wasn't getting away unscratched but she wanted to take most if not all the enemies down with her. But that plan became impossible with the emergence of a capable leader. She quickly adapted to a defensive stance (Soresu) and allowed the force to engulf her surrounding area so she could begin to fire from the blaster's bolts.
Thirty Blaster bolts began firing at Rayath in succession. Although, they had a capable leader the Black Suns were still a stupid group of people and immediately killed fellow friends in a cross fire. "You Idiots! Check your fire and Position yourselves away from the crossfire! Being forced to clear a side of their encirclement they opened slightly and kept fighting blaster shots at her making her slowly retreat in the direction of the now opened direction. Still having twenty-seven people left they were able to force her back,
Rayath gritted her teeth and kept doing what she could, although she wasn't the strongest of Jedi she kept her own but she was slowly starting to lose focus. Her concertation with the force was at an all time high and it was slowly draining her stamina . Thankfully, they would make a mistake here allowing her to deflect a couple bolts back at them killing another two Blacks Suns.
Quickly, checking her surroundings she noticed an opportunity. She adjusted her slow backpedaling allowing herself to entrap herself to a comm's array tower. She quickly uses a pillar to catch her breath for a second.
"Do you think this will save you? We've been ordered to kill you on sight. You're not needed."
"Sorry to inform you, But I don't care." Using her saber She quickly cuts the pillars on both sides and focus's her remaining force power to push the tower into falling faster.
"Shit. Scatter!" The Black Suns attempted to scatter but with the force enabled tower the speed in which it fell increased immensely, crushing into the group of twenty-fiveish remaining Black Suns.
Feeling completely drained she collapsed onto her knees and stared in the direction of the tower feeling the destruction of the Black Suns. Sadly, enough a few lived and began getting up and walking into her direction. She could only smile. "This is the end."
*Thud Thud Thud Thud*
Shocked, Rayath tried to expand her "view" noticing a few more people approaching, unable to decipher the how many due to the small void feeling. "It's the void but not the void, it's too weak." Exhausting her force powers she collapsed onto the ground.
"Cuff her and let's go before the rest show up."
*Transmission*
"Halo Team to Manadalor, captured a Jedi under the control of the Black Sun's what are your orders."
"Just a moment... Sir you have a message from Nar Shaddaa."
