Chapter 127: Chapter 124

As the Criminal Alliance became more active, the CIS faced unexpected opposition. The CIS had planned for a simple conquest, but instead found themselves in the midst of an intense battle against the combined forces of the Hutt Clan, Zann Consortium, and Black Sun who formed a strong resistance.

Because of this Millions of more droids were being mobilized and the CIS had sent more ships into Hutt space. This was bad for some of the people living in Hutt controlled space since they encountered harsher taxes and a large amount were forced to fight by the Criminal Alliance.

This started a massive movement which prompted civilians to try and flee Hutt space into the nearby Terran territory which consisted of the Mytaranor sector, Teraab sector, Harron sector, and a few other Sectors.

These Sectors contained the worlds of Kashyyyk, Ruusan, and Circarpous IV along with a few other small planet's and moons. Circarpous IV was the Financial Capital of this Region of Terran space and even though it was separated from Lehon Trade still flowed to and from the planet.

Most civilians who fled from the Hutt controlled space made it to this planet where they were rounded up and put into camps in order to ensure regional stability on the planet. These Camps were constantly expanding and given food and other supplies to survive.

Food was essential to survive besides a safe place to stay and the Terran Ascendency had a ton of food which it produced. It was one of the things which Alexander had made them self sufficient in so that when his population grew he would always have food available to everybody.

But these camps were still met with resistance as the inhabitants of Circarpous IV didn't like the idea of other races occupying their lands feeding off their valuable resources.

The Civilians took to the streets and even stood in front of the camp protesting it's existence. But Terran soldiers stood around the camp keeping the protesters away.

And as the weeks went by the Protesters only increased in numbers. The reason behind this was because the Governor of Circarpous IV fully endorsed their behavior and even went protesting with them.

Empress Yona who was the Sector Governor and the Supreme Military Commander for all the Sectors in this region of Terran space. She was already aware of the problem and would send her subordinates to inform the Governor to stop participating in this act and enforce Martial Law before she has to relieve him of his position.

Her Subordinates were already on the way to Circarpous IV and would reach their soon.

In the meantime The Galactic Empire has personnally gotten involved in the affair between the Criminal Alliance and the CIS.

Of course they took no sides and had even called the Criminal Alliance a Giant Criminal Empire which needed to be put down. The Imperial military had mobilized and the 7th and 9th Imperial Fleet was sent into Hutt space to 'Enforce Order'.

As tensions continued to escalate on Circarpous IV, the arrival of Yona's subordinates brought a glimmer of hope for resolution. The Governor, who had been swept up in the fervor of the protests, met with them reluctantly. He knew that his actions had gone against the principles of the Terran Ascendency, But he still didn't care and wanted every single camp that was set to be gone off of his world.

Yona's subordinates, led by Commander Orin, urged the Governor to reconsider his position and restore order on Circarpous IV. They explained that while they sympathized with the plight of the displaced civilians, allowing chaos to reign was not a viable solution.

The Governor listened but their words didn't move him at all and he had simply rejected them and told them that he shall continue to do what he has to until they are gone off of his planet.

Commander Orin exchanged a frustrated glance with his subordinates. It seemed that reason alone would not be enough to sway the stubborn Governor's stance. But they couldn't afford to give up. For the sake of the Governor's life.

"I understand your concerns, Governor," Commander Orin began, his voice steady and firm. "But allowing this chaos to persist will only lead to further suffering and instability. The Terran Ascendency stands for unity and compassion, even in the face of adversity."

The Governor scoffed dismissively. "Unity? Compassion? Those are empty words, Commander. This is our planet, our resources being drained by these outsiders. We owe them nothing."

Orin took a step closer, his eyes narrowing with determination. "Governor, I implore you to reconsider. Her Highness Empress Yona has given you a Royal Order and disobeying that Order will result in your execution. So once again I implore you to reconsider"

The Governor's expression softened for a moment as he considered Orin's words. But then his gaze hardened once again, his resolve returning.

"No," he said firmly. "We must prioritize our own people above all else. These camps must go."

The Governor turned around and left the room while Orin and his party left the planet and would travel back to the Yona to inform her of what happened. Normally he would have told her over a holo call but since he failed he wanted to face his punishment in person.

Orin and his subordinates boarded their ship and set a course back to Lehon, the central planet of the Terran Ascendency. The atmosphere inside the vessel was heavy with disappointment and concern. They had failed to convince the Governor of Circarpous IV to restore order, and now they would have to face the consequences.

As the ship traveled through space, Commander Orin couldn't help but replay their conversation with the Governor in his mind. He wondered if there was something else they could have said or done to change his mind. But deep down, he knew that some individuals were simply unwilling to see reason when their own interests were at stake.

When they finally arrived on Yona, Orin and his subordinates made their way to the Imperial Palace. As they entered the grand halls, they could feel the weight of responsibility on their shoulders.

As they stood before Yona in the throne room, Orin spoke first, his voice steady but filled with remorse. "Your Highness, we regret to inform you that we were unable to persuade the Governor of Circarpous IV to restore order on the planet. He remains steadfast in his decision to remove the camps."

Before Yona could reply, another voice chimed in. "It seems the Governor has chosen to defy a Royal Order and is still encouraging the people to protest." This voice was one that every person in the Military has heard before.

Orin and his party bowed their heads even more showing the utmost respect "We Greet his Highness" Said the group all at once.

"That's enough Commander lift your heads" Said Alexander

Orin and his party lifted their heads and immediately felt the gaze of the Emperor on them.

"Since I am bored and this Governor has decided to disobey a Royal Order I will go and show to those who want to cause regional instability what happens when you defy a Royal Order from the Empress" said Alexander as he walked towards Commander Orin.

"And you commander will accompany me" Said Alexander as he placed his hand on Commander Orin's shoulder.

Alexander then turned around to face Yona "Are you coming with me?"

Yona only smiled at this question "Of Course I am I want to see how you look when you get angry" said Yona since she could see it in his eyes that he was a little bit angry upon hearing this.

"Alright then let's go" Said Alexander as everybody left the Throne room and boarded a shuttle which took them to the Harrower Class Dreadnought which was already on standby above the planet.

Once they were onboard the ship left the planet's orbit and jumped into Hyperspace. Alexander didn't bring his Emperor Class Star Dreadnought since it was not needed for a simple matter such as this.
