Star Wars: Battle Angel Chapter 5

Running up to Alita, Vicdean crouched down before her, "Are you alright?"

She nodded, and smiled toothily, "Of course."

Glancing past her, the doctor saw the bloodstains covering the sandy ground.

He then turned back to Alita and smiled as well, "I'm glad, now let's get you back inside so I can finish that check-up."

(Noreo POV)

Hearing a commotion from outside, I quickly ran through the hangar and into Vic's workshop.

I frowned as I saw the two enter back into the room.

My eyes then shifted to Alita'a bloodied hands, and my frown deepened, "What happened?"

Vic spun around, "Noreo." he greeted, overly cheerful.

Eyes narrowed, I watched him, I could feel his unease, his racing emotions.

I looked over at Alita, who was now sitting back in the chair.

Bile gathered in my mouth as I saw a tooth embedded in her skin.

"Alita!" I called out, and she immediately looked at me.

I then pointed at my hand and realising what I meant she removed the tooth.

"So, what happened?" I asked, turning back to Vic.

He clenched his jaw, "Jabba's goons were here for the money."

I snorted, "Of course, they were… greedy little bastards."

Glancing back over at Alita, I grimaced.

The sight of the metallic fibres twisting, turning the fake skin she usually carried on the outside, inside, nauseated me.

Red light gleaned through the fibres giving her an eerie look and turning the usually cute lady into an angel of death.

My eyes turned back to Vic as he tapped me on the shoulder, "Are you even listening to me?"

I blinked and nodded, "Of course!"

"Alright, she then disarmed Evii and told her to leave, which she then did," Vic said, glancing out the window.

Blinking in surprise, I glanced over at Alita, she was even more amazing than I had initially thought.

Maybe, just maybe, she could be the one to defeat Jabba and take back Tatooine.
