Chapter 1: (Rey Skywalker's Apprentice.)
Chapter one:
Boom! A shot blows up the ground near the scavenger girl, but Rey doesn't flinch unlike the men beside her. It had been a week ago since she received the order to liberate the planet of Batuu and a boring week it had. The Stormtroopers here didn't give much of a fight nor did the people that lived on the planet. She had not had a real challenge in five years. She at least wished she could receive information from her old Master maybe that would be an interesting fight. She decided to leave her ship and wait for the call that the battle was finished. But before she could a Rebel soldier walked up beside her.
"Rey we have captured a boy." Said the Rebel soldier. Rey was a bit ticked off that the soldier had stopped her for such unimportant news. "And why should this information be consulted with me?" Asked Rey.
"Because before we could capture him he took down ten of the Stormtroopers." Replied the Rebel soldier. Rey was taken back a bit. "How old is this boy?" She asked.
"He looks to be around fourteen or sixteen ma'am." Replied the Rebel soldier. Now things started to get interesting. "Where is he being held now?" Asked Rey.
"In cell block A-14, the Rebel soldier responded. As Rey walked towards the cell she wondered if he could be the son of a Jedi. If he was then maybe he could be turned so that he would serve the Republic. If he was really great he could become one of Luke Skywalker's Padawan's. If not then she would kill him where he stands.
As the door opened she saw a little boy crouching in the corner. Chains were tied around him probably to keep him under control. Certainly this was not the boy that they were talking about. He looked like he could barely kill one trooper let alone ten. He had brown hair, and brown eyes, and was hardly fit to be a warrior. He turned to look up and stared her. He didn't look afraid of her. In fact even though he was looking at her his mind was someplace else. Rey could feel the anger and hatred within him not towards her but someone else. "There will be no need for those." With a wave of Rey's hand the chains fell to the floor. He still said or did nothing but look at her.
Rey walks towards him and gets almost right above him and says. "Give me one reason why I shouldn't destroy you." That would put fear in the boy she thought. Yet he still said nothing. After what seemed like hours he finally opened his mouth to speak. "If I were only stronger I could have saved them all." When he said that Rey thought she saw in him days before the new Republic, she thought she saw herself when she was young and naive. Rey took her saber from her belt. "You are quite interesting little boy that is why I will give you a choice. Either grab my hand and be released from this cell or grab the hilt of this lightsaber and be killed." Said Rey. The boy reaches up and slowly touches the saber.
"You have made a wise decision." Said the scavenger girl from Jakku.
