Chapter 46: Ginii Prime
The leadership of the Genii had been overthrown by a military coup.
Ladon Redim had bearly escaped with his life he had managed to make his way to a Stargate and dialed Atlantis after passing through the gate he collapsed and found himself waking up in a bed in the medical department of Atlantis .
" Mr Redim I am pleased you are awake how are you feeling "asked a beautiful woman .
" I feel better than I have in years .
Please call me Ladon and may I ask beautiful lady who are you " said Ladon .
"Forgive me I am Atlantis .
I am the avatar of the artificial intelligence of Atlantis" said the woman.
" I think I understand so you are Atlantis, the city of Atlantis " said Ladon.
"Correct and I have informed Mr Worsley that you are awake, and he will be here soon "said Atlantis.
"How is it that the Tau'ri have control over you Atlantis you are a city of the Ancients " said Ladon .
" correct I am a city of the Alterans the Ancients as you call them .
The Tau'ri are the children of the Ancients, and the rightful inheritors of the technology and knowledge of the Ancients, so you see I am a city of the Tau'ri "said Atlantis.
"It seems that the Tau'ri are more powerful than I thought "said Ladon .
" Yes mr Radim I expect much more than you realise"said Atlantis.
Mr Worsley approached the side of Ladon's bed .
"Mr Radim it's good that you are awake , when you came here to Atlantis you were badly wounded I am glad that the doctors fixed your injuries .
Tell me what happened and what brought you to Atlantis " said Worsley.
A military coup led by the supporters of the former regime of Premin, attacked and overthrew my government.
I managed to escape ,but not before I learned of the massacre that they have planned if it hasn't happened already .
The Genii pan to detonate a nuclear device in close proximity to a star gate on a world that they know will be culled by the Wraith.
The plan is to detonate the device as soon as the culling begins ,they wish to destroy the Wraith and ensure the power of the Genii is known.
They believe that the Genii should lead the galaxy, and if you fall in line with the Genii confederation you will be protected ,but if you refuse the Genii then they will take what they want from you with force.
I know of the location of several nuclear devices that are complete, and I believe I know the world that they plan to detonate the device on against the Wraith as a show of power .
I believe that the planet Thenoura is in imminent danger" said Radim.
Mr Worsley looked at the avatar of Atlantis and asked " Atlantis please show me the position of Thenoura and the closest Wraith ship in culling range of the planet ".
Atlantis displayed the requested information in the air in holographic form, it was clear that Thenoura would be culled by the Wraith,they were currently one jump away from the planet.
"Atlantis send the details through to commander Shepherd, and tell him to stop the nuclear detention and the Wraith culling"said Worsley.
" I seek your help in restoring the rightful government to power on Genii prime " said Ladon .
" Mr Radim you will be going to earth were you can put your case before the high council " said Mr Worsley.
